Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty Described in Psalm 23

Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty Described in Psalm 23

Positive Christianity Series Episode #339

Jesus, "I Am The Good Shepherd" (1) | DAILY PRAYERS

David described in the Psalms how fidelity is a virtue that must be prioritized. The virtue of fidelity allows us to persevere despite obstacles, adversity, and persecution. David was able to keep fidelity to GOD Almighty and persevered through everything never practicing idol worship a single day of his life. David's life reminds us that we can actually prioritize fidelity to GOD Almighty and persevere. GOD Almighty never forsook David. Psalm 23 describes how GOD Almighty is present in our lives.

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."- Psalm 23: 1

Psalm 23 reminds us that GOD Almighty provides all our basic necessities including food, water, air, light, shelter, clothing, protection and deliverance from the envy of the snake, health, salvation, eternal salvation, favor, blessings, and virtues. Because we have the worship of GOD Almighty, we have everything that we need to persevere in the path of eternal salvation. If we do not have something, it is because we do not need it. We can have gratitude to GOD Almighty for everything that we have and remove ingratitude from our lives. If something tries to lead to idol worship, then we do not need it. We can have gratitude for not having things that try to lead to idol worship and the road of perdition

"He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides still waters."- Psalm 23: 2

David described how GOD Almighty provides for our basic necessities including food and water. We learn that GOD Almighty is our Shepherd who guides us to the path of eternal salvation and far apart from the road of perdition. In the worship of GOD Almighty, we are able to have everything that we need. When we are told temporary lies by the snake that tries to lead to temptation or discouragement of our faith, we can persist reminding ourselves of the eternal truth in Scripture. (Temptations are never what they appear to be because they are based on temporary lies. The discouragements are so that an individual's faith does not grow to confidence, confidence to zeal, and zeal to unchanging fidelity. The snake fears unchanging fidelity in faithful Christians seen in how Moses divided the Red Sea and David conquered Goliath). Instead we can remind ourselves of the eternal truth, "The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want." We can remind ourselves that we have even greater than what we can imagine knowing that we have eternal salvation to persevere to Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem. We have favor and blessings that can not be compared to being able to persist with unchanging determination and steadfast discipline in the worship of GOD Almighty

I have not lacked anything in the past, do not lack anything in the present, and won't lack anything in the future. We can persevere trusting in the Eternal and Infinite Maker of Heaven and earth. That is why David confirms GOD Almighty's eternal fidelity in Psalm 23 and also lives his life prioritizing the worship of GOD Almighty. David described that the worship of GOD Almighty is greater than thousands of gold and silver pieces (Psalm 119: 72). We learn that it is better to keep fidelity to GOD Almighty (Psalm 91: 1-2, Psalm 91: 9-10). The worship of GOD Almighty is greater than the temporary things of this imperfect world. This wisdom allows us to avoid idol worship that does not help and also leads to discouragement, difficulties, foolishness, envy, bitterness, anger, hate, intemperance, arrogance, temporary lies, lust, adultery, homosexuality, slothfulness, indiscipline, stagnation, vices, and destruction

"For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the Heavens."- Psalm 96: 5

Learning Hebrew

Baruch, ברכה, means blessing in Hebrew. Baruch means blessing in Hebrew and is also the name of a Jewish individual that Jeremiah was able to convert to Christianity despite opposition. We learn that we have favor and blessings in the worship of GOD Almighty. Psalm 23 of David describes how GOD Almighty allows us to persevere through adversity because we place our trust in the Creator and LORD of everything and not in the temporary things of the world. We learn that the favor and blessings are greater than the temporary things of the world. We learn that Abraham and Sarah had their basic necessities and were blessed with eternal descendants for keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty above temporary wealth. Abraham and Sarah were wealthy, yet did not worship money similar to Zacchaeus. Abraham and Sarah were able to have numerous children, the land of Canaan that became the land of Israel, live to long life, have renovation of youth, be industrious, be faithful to GOD Almighty, not worship wealth, and keep fidelity in their marriage. The biggest blessing of Abraham and Sarah was that GOD Almighty was and is the GOD of Abraham and Sarah. We can persevere acknowledging that GOD Almighty is eternally faithful to His word and does not forsake us. We may not have an electric lamborghini, designer clothing, piles of stagflated currency in the bank, false "relationships", nor false "friendships", yet we have everything that we need to avoid idol worship and avoid the road of destruction

Denying Temptation (Envy/Cowardice)

 Denying Temptation (Envy/ Cowardice)

Positive Christianity Series Episode #338

GOD Almighty instructs us in Scripture about the need to avoid bad company and corruption. We learn that false "friendships" and false "relationships" can also lead to the practice of idol worship and envy. Practicing idol worship and envy leads to the perdition of the wicked. We learn that we are not supposed to believe the temporary lies of the snake that wants to lead to disobedience based on envy. We learn that we can persevere with bravery and have gratitude instead of cowardice and envy

"Good sense wins favor, but the way of the treacherous is their ruin."- Proverbs 13: 15

The story of Benedict Arnold describes that individuals must not be envious and wicked. We learn that the story of Paul Revere was impressive because Paul Revere was loyal to his country and bretheren. Revere alerted the American militia of the British so that they could defend themselves. Risking his life, Revere notified American militia members and signers of the Declaration of Independence of how the British were trying to impede independence in 1776. Revere helped his country persevere and is remembered as an impressive American hero.

Benedict Arnold betrayed his country by deciding to give West Point to the British army in exchange for £20,000. Arnold decided to betray his country because he was arrogant, envious, and caused strife with other military officers. Arnold was resentful that he was passed over for a promotion despite having significant injuries. Instead of understanding that he had injuries and there were other soldiers who did not, he was angry to not be promoted although that would have caused struggles to other soldiers in the battlefield. Arnold was envious and resentful. He also decided to marry a woman that was British causing his loyalty to diminish. Because his wife spent lavishly, he decided to help the British in exchange for money. Arnold was treacherous, angry, and envious.

"Righteousness guards him whose path is blameless, but sin overthrows the wicked."- Proverbs 13: 6

Benedict Arnold was resentful for not being given a greater position in the American militia and decided to betray his country (despite having injuries that could have placed other soldiers in danger). Arnold did not understand this and instead decided to be resentful and decided to betray his country. Benedict Arnold decided to betray and helped the British attack West Point. The American militia found out and was able to defend West Point. Upon being found out, Benedict Arnold fled the country to England where he was also distrusted. Despite the betrayal from Benedict Arnold, the United States still received its independence from tyranny. We learn about the impressive stories of George Washington who led the American militia to numerous victories and ultimately to independence from England. Despite not being the world power at that time in 1776, the American forces defeated Britain. The American militia defeated the British despite only being a militia. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and Alexander Hamilton also helped describe the need for independence from tyranny and authoritarianism. England had been raising taxes without representation, made a monopoly preventing Americans from selling tea, and nullified the Massachussets Bay Charter for refusing to go along with authoritarianism and tyranny. The American Revolution described that the Founding Fathers were inspired by autonomy and refused to go along with tyranny (We can follow the example by refusing to get "vaccinated" with an experimental "vaccine" and avoid idol worship. We do not need socialism. Instead we need to keep fidelity to GOD Almighty). While America was not the world power at that time, they were able to prosper and thrive. Even with a turncoat like Benedict Arnold who was found out, America still became independent. GOD Almighty gave independence to the United States from tyranny in the 1700s. (In these times, we can learn the lesson of avoiding rat snakes like Benedict Arnold who was envious, resentful, spiteful, and idolatrous choosing to be bribed rather than to keep fidelity to his country and bretheren. The important lesson is to avoid rat snakes like Benedict Arnold who envy and resent others for being logical and having empathy. We also do not harm socialists and instead leave the vengeance in the hands of GOD Almighty and keep worshiping and preaching King Jesus Christ.) Benedict Arnold was an idolator, coward, and envious. The Americans found out yet did not hang him for treason. Benedict Arnold fled to England with his wife where he was also distrusted. Benedict Arnold lived resentful in England also where he was not promoted nor prominent. Benedict Arnold was proud and arrogant which would explain his envy and resentments. Instead of understanding that he was given easier assignments for his injuries while still being allowed to be a soldier in the battlefield, he became envious and betrayed the soldiers that were looking out for him and the other soldiers. We can avoid treacherous rat snakes like Benedict Arnold who was not humble nor sincere and instead was envious and resentful. We can be similar to Paul Revere and nothing like Benedict Arnold.

Learning Hebrew

Mizvotim, משבחימ, means commandments in Hebrew. (The -im suffix describes that it is plural.) We learn that the commandments describe the need to not covet. We are not supposed to envy because we are supposed to have gratitude for the things we have and even for the things we do not have that we do not need. The reason for this is that if we have gratitude, we do not have ingratitude. Ingratitude wants to lead to negative emotions such as envy and envy to coveting. Instead of envying, we can have gratitude for everything that we have. Benedict Arnold decided to envy other soldiers and also practice cowardice. Instead of being grateful of being allowed to still be a soldier in the battlefield, he decided to envy and resent leadership. We learn to persevere accepting correction and reproof while having gratitude. We can ignore the temporary lies of the snake that wants to cause division and enmity. The snake attempts to cause envy. When we remove envy from our lives, we are going to respect humanity instead of envying others without reason. That is why envy needs to be removed from our lives. The worship of GOD Almighty removes envy, and the practice of idol worship actually causes envy. We can avoid envy and idol worship.

Denying Temptation (Fake "Friends"/Bad Company)

 Denying Temptation (Fake "Friends"/Bad Company)

Positive Christianity Series Episode #337

GOD Almighty instructs wisdom and correction so that we avoid the path of destruction. We learn that we can avoid the road of perdition by choosing to persist with integrity and by keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty. We are told to avoid intemperance that includes alcoholism, illicit drug use, and idol worship. Idol worship attempts to lead to heavy alcohol use and poisonous illicit drugs. In the rock and roll lifestyle, there are false "friends" that are idolatrous and socialists. We learn that socialists are not "friends" because they envy other people based on their talents, authenticity, and uniqueness. It is better to avoid such rat snakes. Fake phonies probably attempt to lead others to envy, illicit drug use, and socialism. The socialists also envy discipline. We must avoid false rat snakes.

"The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death."- Proverbs 14: 27

The life of Kurt Kobain describes that we should avoid bad company. We learn that socialists envy individuals that are authentic and distinct. Kurt Kobain practiced idol worship, yet was able to create a distinct sound in rock and roll called grunge rock. The lyrics of grunge music were not so good and probably based on idol worship, yet it is noted that he created a different sound in rock and roll in the 1990s.

"The righteous chooses his friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray."- Proverbs 12: 26

Kurt Kobain was famous and well received in the 1990s for being unique and distinct having created a different type of rock and roll. There may have been socialists who envied Kurt Kobain for being the lead singer of Nirvana and leading the band in the 1990s. Nirvana was the band of the 1990s. Socialists probably did not like Kurt Kobain like they did not like Hendrix and Buckley for having a distinct sound.

Kurt Kobain was led to the rock and roll lifestyle and began to use illicit drugs including heroin. Illicit drugs such as heroin are promoted in the rock and roll lifestyle. In rock and roll, individuals are actually reviled and ridiculed if they do not use illicit drugs and heavy alcohol use. Illicit drug use and alcoholism can lead to severe adverse health effects, indiscipline, and even negative emotions. While using illicit drugs and being the top band of the 1990s, Kurt Kobain was still envied by socialists. Kurt Kobain may have been envied by socialists, music producers, other musicians, adultresses, or fans. Kurt Kobain was probably envied for being distinct and creating a new rock genre. It is noted that he overdosed on heroin. It is possible that he overdosed on heroin because he did use illicit drugs, but it is also probable that he was envied by other socialists for being creative and distinct. Grunge music is noted to use distortion on the guitar to create a different and distinct sound from the rock and roll of the 1950s-1980s. (Many bands of the 1990s and 2000s began to incorporate grunge like sound in alternative rock describing the obvious influence of Kurt Kobain on rock and roll.) It is important to avoid idolators and socialists. Kurt Kobain died of a supposed drug overdose and had many socialist "friends". It is better to be far apart from bad company. We can persevere avoiding socialists who envy others. (Even Kurt Kobain was envied by socialists. Even the lead singer of the top rock band in the 1990s was envied.)

Learning Hebrew

Tapetz, חפץ, means delight in Hebrew. The Scriptures tell us that we should love GOD Almighty above everything and delight in the worship of GOD Almighty. This wisdom allows us to know that the temporary and imperfect things of this world like fame, fake "relationships", fake "friendships" (bad company), and material temporary wealth are not the source of happiness. We learn that instead of being deceived by temporary lies, we choose to believe GOD Almighty and persevere with everything that we need. When we see the worship of GOD Almighty being life and our delight, we begin to understand that nothing from the temporary imperfect world suffices. This is because we are not created to worship temporary and imperfect things. We are created to worship the Maker of Heaven and earth. That is why idolatrous music should be avoided and instead we can listen to encouraging songs of worship. We can also sing worship songs to the Eternal and Infinite GOD of gods. The worship of GOD Almighty is how we conquer the snake. (Kurt Kobain made idolatrous music, and idolators still envied Kurt Kobain.)

Persevering With Motivation Amidst Not So Good Times

02/01/2026 Forgot to write on Friday yet my internet was also slowed down during the day due to rat snakes. There is the need to persevere worshiping GOD Almighty knowing that with each day we are closer to Shabbath and each Shabbath we are closer to Shabbath Millennium. We know that we conquer the snake worshiping GOD Almighty. Each day we are supposed to increase our faith, humbleness, zeal, and fidelity to GOD Almighty while ignoring and refuting the foolishness of the snake. If the snake tries to discourage, it is because it already is discouraged. We can persevere with happiness in the worship of GOD Almighty. We can sing worship songs to King Jesus Christ and avoid idolatrous music. We can choose great music and encouraging information instead of discouragements. Recently read that since 1949 Christianity increased significantly in Asia, and Christianity keeps increasing. While China has had persecution and opposition due to communism in 1949, Christianity has abounded. Tens of millions of Christians have been added to the faith in Christ over the past decades when there were only a few million in 1949. We can persevere preaching and glorifying King Jesus Christ above the temporary things of the imperfect world. We can also avoid rat snakes.

Christian Worship Music

 Christian Worship Music

There are amazing Christian worship songs that we can sing despite the discouragements of the times we live in. Music was created by GOD Almighty to worship GOD Almighty and also to remind us that we can live with genuine empathy and without envy. (We can remove negative music that wants to discourage us and lead to envy, lust, hate, intemperance, idol worship, and disbelief.)

Old Testament tells us of righteous individuals including David, the sons of David, prophets, priests, and faithful individuals who sang worship songs to GOD Almighty when there was adversity and opposition. GOD Almighty delivered the righteous faithful from their adversaries in the worship of GOD Almighty. In the New Testament, King Jesus Christ, the disciples, and apostles also sang hymns of worship to GOD Almighty. Paul sang worship songs while being persecuted and was delivered from his adversaries also.

Christian Art, Pictures, and Maps

 Christian Art, Pictures, and Maps

We learn that GOD Almighty is the Creator and LORD of everything. GOD Almighty also created art so that we can appreciate GOD Almighty's creation. We do not worship idols and images, yet we can appreciate great works of art that even describe that life is beautiful. (GOD Almighty does not reside in an image.) Christian art describes the beauty of GOD Almighty's creation from Genesis. We can also choose to appreciate great art instead of post-modern style "art" seen in Jackson Polock's and Picasso.

Abraham's Faith

Abraham and Sarah had faith in GOD Almighty and obtained favor and blessings. We learn to persevere with faith similar to Abraham and Sarah. The greatest blessing to Abraham and Sarah was that GOD Almighty was and is their GOD.

Moses' Humility

Moses was able to part the Red Sea and defeat Pharaoh trusting in GOD Almighty. Humility allows us to trust in GOD Almighty and increase in zeal despite envy. Moses defeated Pharaoh and made signs and wonders that the Egyptian magicians could not replicate. Even the first two signs that the Egyptian magicians tried to replicate were not exactly Moses' signs and wonders.

                          Joseph's Perseverance

A Hero Rises: The Story of Joseph | Goodness Of God Ministries
Joseph was able to persevere in Egypt despite being all alone in Egypt. GOD Almighty did not forsake Joseph despite envy from his brothers and lies from Potiphar's wife. Joseph became great in Egypt even having Pharaoh's approval to administrate.

Righteous Priests Including Ithamar and Eliezer Were Not Idolatrous

Prophet Isaiah | Prophet isaiah, Isaiah, Prophet
Eliezer and Ithamar were righteous priests who did not become corrupted by idolatry and the love of money. There were righteous priests who did not worship idols nor money. Abiathar and Zadok also worshiped GOD Almighty burning incense in the first temple. When David organized the priests to worship GOD Almighty day and night, Israel abounded unlike any other time. We learn to persevere preaching and praying knowing that our prayers ascend to GOD Almighty in the Highest Heavens. That is why the snake hates prayer.

Job's Faith Despite Being Doubted

We learn in Scripture that Job's supposed friends doubted Job's righteousness and even considered Job wicked and a liar. We learn to persevere trusting in GOD Almighty and not in fake "friends".

David's Fidelity

The land of Israel.

David was able to trust in GOD Almighty and never practiced idolatry a single day of his life. Despite much adversity, the story of David describes that GOD Almighty does not forsake his faithful. David prospered despite giant, Saul, Abner, Doeg, Saul's 3,000 soldiers, Ish-bosheth's rebellion, Hanun's foolishness, 7-9 hostile nations, and Absalom's rebellion. Despite adversity, David's story is a better story than Solomon's who trusted in idolatry.

Land that is added to Israel when David is king. We learn that while Israel was surrounded by 8-9 nations that were hostile against Israel, GOD Almighty allowed Israel to prosper and increase amidst the struggles through faith. David is the man of faith similar to Moses and King Jesus Christ, who allows Israel to abound and increase.

David's unchanging fidelity to GOD Almighty allowed him to prosper even in the land of Philistia obtaining Ziklag from the Philistines. David was King of Israel and took Israel to better times despite Saul's envy.

The-Kingdom-of-Israel-(under-David) - Headwaters Christian Resources
The Kingdom of Israel increased under King David due to David removing idol worship. David improved Israel because individuals saw David's positive example and preferred the worship of GOD Almighty. Because idolatry diminished, David and Israel improved unlike any time in the past.
