Daniel's Prophecy of Jacob's Trouble or Great Tribulation

“And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.”- Daniel 12: 7

We are reminded from the prophet Daniel about the importance of being able to reconcile and see within the Spirit of Truth the Scriptures. We see that there is congruence in the manner that the prophets all speak the truth within the Spirit of Truth. We learn from the prophet Daniel that he was persecuted in Chaldea for believing in GOD Almighty but was protected by GOD Almighty even through the difficulties.

We are reminded as believers that we need to trust in GOD Almighty to protect and guide us in the times leading to the Great Tribulation. We are reminded by Daniel that we can continue to trust GOD Almighty over everything else. Daniel is told about the things that are happening at the times of the Great Tribulation. We learn that even though there will be deception throughout the end times, we need to be at peace knowing that GOD Almighty is in absolute control of the events seen in Revelation.

When we read about the prophecies of Daniel, we read that the people of Israel were going to be ensnared into believing that they had received Solomon as their messiah when in reality they are deceived. We learn that King Jesus Christ already arrived two thousand years ago and that it is King Jesus Christ who is the Messiah.

We are able to understand that even through everything that is happening in those times, those Jewish individuals who want to believe the lies are going to be behind three and a half years in knowing the truth. They will not know that they are being deceived. Those that are wicked are going to be deceived and will fall for their inability to see the truth. We learn from the difficulties that are happening in the world will be reminders that the world is meant to pass away. The word of GOD Almighty does not pass away. King Jesus Christ did not pass away and was resurrected in three days.

Daniel tells us that even through everything that is happening, the righteous will be wise and know the truth from the lies. We will be able to know that there is going to be a great deception through false information and false signs and false prophets. We are reminded that we need to be reminded of the truth of GOD Almighty through the Scriptures. While there may be deception being stated in the news, we are to continue believing in King Jesus Christ, the Scriptures, and the truth.
