| Jerusalem, Israel described through different names from City on a Mountain, the Great City, Zion, and the City of David. We learn that King Jesus Christ will reign for a Millennium in a renovated Jerusalem. King Jesus Christ will also call Christians to be priest kings who deny the world meaning no idolatry and no technological implant and continue worshiping King Jesus Christ to obtain eternal salvation. |
Through the description of the New Sactuary at the Millennium of King Jesus Christ, we learn about the need for priests that will be able to take care of the sanctuary and help King Jesus Christ. We learn that those that are considered worthy of helping in the New Sactuary and caring out their purpose are those that are the sons of Zadok.
We can understand this as literal meaning only the sons of Zadok would be able to fulfill this requirement or understand that Zadok was a righteous individual who GOD Almighty considered worthy of fulfilling His purpose. We learn from the descriptions of Zadok, we learn that there were two individuals named Zadok from the same lineage. We learn that they were priest and scribe. We learn that they were considered righteous for being able to accomplish the purpose of GOD Almighty while maintaining righteousness.
“And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah; and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah; for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.”- Nehemiah 13: 13
“Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred. And Jehoiada was the leader of the house of Aaron, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred; and Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father’s house twenty and two captains.”- 1 Chronicles 12: 26-28
“And Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said: ‘Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty; for the LORD hath blessed His people; and that which is left is this great store.’” - 2 Chronicles 31: 10
We learn through the Scriptures of Ezekiel's vision of the New Sanctuary. We learn that GOD Almighty wants righteous individuals to fulfill the role of priests in the New Sanctuary. We learn that King Jesus Christ is the High Priest who will be able to provide the understanding, wisdom, and authority to the priests and to righteous individuals in worshiping GOD Almighty.
We learn that there is that distinction made that the sons of Zadok were to be a part of this. This must be symbolic in reminding us that Zadok was a righteous individual and only righteous individuals were able to be a part of this requirement. We learn that the name of Zadok is described positively in Scripture telling us that this individual was counted faithful, was a young man mighty of valour, and GOD Almighty multiplying food that was offered as tithing to the house of Zadok.
“The sanctified portion shall be for the priests of the sons of Zadok, that have kept My charge, that went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.”- Ezekiel 48: 11
We learn through this description that the priesthood that will be helping King Jesus Christ in the New Sanctuary will receive a sanctified portion of land that will be theirs. They will not only have professions, land, and specific role to partake in the New Sanctuary, but they are also described as sons of Zadok. This description tells us that these individuals are righteous individuals that have the ability to carry out their purpose through righteousness.
“And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. And in a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to Mine ordinances shall they judge it; and they shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed seasons, and they shall hallow My sabbaths.”- Ezekiel 44: 23-24
We learn that the sons of Zadok are those individuals that have chosen King Jesus Christ over everything in this life. They have decided to glorify GOD Almighty over everything else in their lives and are considered righteous. These individuals are those that will reign with King Jesus Christ for a Thousand Years in the New Millennium of King Jesus Christ. We learn that those that deny the world and choose King Jesus Christ are considered worthy. Whether salvation is obtained through Rapture of the Church, persecution, or the 144,000 who are sealed on the forehead with the name of GOD, we learn that the important point is eternal salvation.
Those individuals that obtain eternal salvation through King Jesus Christ and do not take the technological implant and do not practice idolatry will reign with King Jesus Christ for a Thousand Years. We learn that they reign with King Jesus Christ for a thousand years and in a specific interpretation, we learn that they are called kings.
“They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”- Revelation 20: 4
Depending on the interpretation, we learn that the followers of King Jesus Christ who are able to conquer through the testimony of King Jesus Christ and the acceptance of King Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice will be priests and kings because they will reign for a thousand years. These are the sons of Zadok because they are described as righteous. They are individuals who choose GOD Almighty over everything in this life.
“Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.”- Revelation 20: 6
We can read in the Scriptures that GOD Almighty always cares about those that give priority to GOD Almighty over everything else. We learn that the Levitical priesthood and the Kings of Judah were to have priests and kings for all eternity. When this was not possible due to sin, we learn that King Jesus Christ is sent to accomplish this specific requirement, be pure, atone for our sins, and resurrect King of kings for all eternity. King Jesus Christ wants to include us in the New Millennium not only as individuals living in the New Millennium but individuals that will be priests and kings for ever like King Jesus Christ is priest king forever.
This talks of how King Jesus Christ is inclusive in wanting to reign for a Millennium with righteous individuals. For this reason we were created to worship GOD Almighty and to take part in the New Millennium where we will judge over differences and reconcile individuals and be peacemakers like King Jesus Christ based on the statutes, laws, and understanding of the word of GOD Almighty. We will continue to grow and learn about the word of GOD. King Jesus Christ will allow us to understand new meanings and new understandings so that we can keep peace in the Renovated New Earth.
We read the specific things that the new priest kings will do in the New Sanctuary. They are in charge of teaching the people the word of GOD Almighty in order to understand the pureness of GOD Almighty. We read that they will judge and decide specific matters. We learn that like Moses judged and was able to be a peacemaker, these individuals will be peacemakers in the New Millennium of King Jesus Christ. They will be able to resolve differences through what they know of Scripture and through the Spirit of Truth that resides in them to distinguish true righteousness.
The priests of righteousness are going to judge and keep the laws and statutes of GOD Almighty. They will be able to honor the sabbaths of GOD Almighty and instruct individuals in the New Millennium to honor GOD Almighty with the laws, statutes, and sabbaths of GOD Almighty.
Through these descriptions we are able to understand that in the New Millennium of King Jesus Christ there will be so much that is happening. People will be constructing, rebuilding, improving the cities, tilling the land to provide food, and having professions. While of all of this is happening, the priests of King Jesus Christ will not only continue learning about the statutes, laws, and sabbaths of GOD Almighty, but will be able to instruct individuals in the manner to honor GOD Almighty. They will resolve difficulties in order to provide peace and reconcile differences between individuals.
“And he said unto me: ‘This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house. And the chamber whose prospect is toward The north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar; these are the sons of Zadok, who from among the sons of Levi come near to the LORD to minister unto the LORD.’”- Ezekiel 40: 45-46
We learn that there are distinctions given to the work that the priests after Zadok can do compared to what the priests of the Levitical priesthood can do. We learn that the sons of Zadok are able to keep charge of the altar and the Levitical priesthood keep charge of the New Sanctuary. This means that GOD Almighty gives the new priest kings authority to be closer to GOD Almighty in fulfilling the role of a priest while the Levitical priesthood is allowed to participate in the New Sanctuary keeping charge of the New Sanctuary.
We learn in this timeline that while there is peace and understanding, there is a need for peacemakers that are righteous and pure like King Jesus Christ in order to continue the order and empathy that exists at that time. We can live in peace knowing that GOD Almighty gives us understanding to know that He cares about us and how we continue to live in the New Millennium.
While the Levitical priesthood will also have specific work to do, we learn that those priests of righteousness after Zadok are those that will serve as priests during the New Millennium. This is due to GOD Almighty remembering the sins and idolatry that was committed by the Levitical priesthood in the past. GOD Almighty forgives and still gives them a method to serve in the New Millennium in the New Sanctuary and allots land to them. This tells us that the priests are given importance in this New Millennium so much so that they are allotted land, specific requirements and characteristics, and given authority by King Jesus Christ to decide differences and questions concerning the laws, statutes, and sabbaths.
When we read in Revelation that there will be kings in the New Millennium, these are the kings described. We know that there will be new kings that King Jesus Christ has decided to give authority over the nations. This is what King Jesus Christ is telling us in Revelation about giving us authority. That we would sit on the throne of King Jesus Christ like King Jesus Christ sat on the throne of GOD Almighty. That we would have iron rods to rule with authority like King Jesus Christ has an iron rod to rule with authority. We learn that King Jesus Christ states that if we confess His name to the world and preach the Gospel, King Jesus Christ will confess our name to GOD Almighty and His angels when King Jesus Christ returns. This tells us of the promises of GOD Almighty to those that believe in GOD Almighty.
When GOD Almighty says that He does not leave us or forsake, this is what He means. We are given favor for preaching repentance of sin and reconciling people through King Jesus Christ. We are told that we are able to conquer and endure through the Spirit of Truth. We can continue to move forward even in the difficulties. We are able to have peace and able to continue despite the difficulties when we pay attention to GOD Almighty over the things of the world. We are reminded to read Scripture to learn the truth that GOD Almighty wants us to know. The truth that endures for all eternity is the word of GOD Almighty.
