Resurrection Radio Podcast
Episode: “Isaiah, Renovation, Encouragement, and Eternal Truth”
Introduction
Good afternoon! My
name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your
presenter. So we spoke about the understandings that we get that GOD
Almighty wants to help and benefit those righteous believers. At the
end of the ages, we know that GOD Almighty says those righteous
individuals will be saved when they call on the name of the LORD.
Those righteous individuals will be saved when they call on the name
of the LORD. Not only salvation in this life, but salvation in the
next life.
Isaiah and Encouragement in Scripture
“Comfort, comfort my people, says your GOD. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins.”- Isaiah 40: 1-2
This is speaking of the time of idolatry in Jerusalem, but GOD Almighty is going to save and protect the righteous. GOD Almighty is going to give justice and is going to show discipline that GOD Almighty cares for Jerusalem. We learn that there is the repentance of iniquity and that GOD Almighty will protect and provide for the righteous. GOD Almighty cares for righteous individuals that care about King Jesus Christ. The time of those difficulties will end. Looking at Isaiah, we understand that the difficulties could refer to the exile and the scattering, but it can speak about how nations will go against Jerusalem. GOD Almighty is going to protect them. King Jesus Christ is going to return, and Jerusalem will still be there.
We know that there is going to be an earthquake that is judgment of GOD Almighty that affects Jerusalem, but Jerusalem continues. Other cities are not able to continue, and they are rebuilt. This is telling us of encouragement. The faith and confidence in GOD Almighty while these things are happening. Not only the time of Isaiah, but we are speaking about the end times. There is encouragement to know that Jerusalem will be saved. There will be individuals that are saved.
Prophecies of John the Baptist's Ministry and Events of Revelation
The first part of this tells us of John the Baptist who was going to prepare the path for King Jesus Christ. This has already happened. John the Baptist was going to preach before King Jesus Christ arrived. In the Jordan River, John the Baptist preached. We learn that after John the Baptist preached, King Jesus Christ began His ministry. That is what we know has already happened.
This is in contrast to the valleys being raised up and the mountains being made low telling of a time in the future that has not happened. We have seen earthquakes and events that have happened in a few places, but this is saying all the world. This is in the time of Revelation. This is the time when King Jesus Christ returns. When King Jesus Christ returns in Zechariah, Mount Olivet is going to be split and there is going to be the understanding that the whole region and most places will become a plain. There would not be mountains. Jerusalem will remain aloft.
This is reminding us of this. The Book of Enoch tells us of this. Revelation also tells us of this.
“Then the glory of GOD Almighty will be revealed and you shall see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”- Isaiah 40: 5
Even when there are difficulties, even in the time of King Jesus Christ and John the Baptist, there is encouragement. The people were led astray from the path of the righteous, and began to have difficulties. They could have believed in GOD Almighty and had everything. We read about how with Hezekiah, the people grew in Jerusalem in numbers. In the times prior to the arrival of King Jesus Christ, the people were not able to have faith and that causes the exile in the time of Jeremiah and then the difficulties with Rome.
We have to be believing in the word of GOD Almighty and continue having encouragement. The faith in GOD Almighty is able to provide. GOD Almighty is able to provide through faith. We read about the times of the future when King Jesus Christ returns. Like it says in Jude, King Jesus Christ will return. Like it says in the Book of Enoch that King Jesus Christ is going to return. Like it says in Revelation that King Jesus Christ is going to return. Like it says in Isaiah that King Jesus Christ is going to return. We have to remind ourselves of this.
Faith Allows Us to Prosper in GOD Almighty's Provisions
There are other sources trying to prevent people from having faith and accessing that faith that is going to allow them to grow and continue being strong in King Jesus Christ. When we are with King Jesus Christ, that is when we are the strongest. Who has the greatest strength, power, might, understanding, dominion, sovereignty, wisdom, and authority? King Jesus Christ. King Jesus Christ is seated to the right hand side of GOD Almighty, and GOD Almighty decides to give all of this to King Jesus Christ for being obedient. GOD Almighty has all strength, power, might, understanding, dominion, sovereignty, wisdom, and authority, and GOD Almighty decides to whom He gives these qualities if we are close to GOD Almighty. This is depending on how GOD Almighty decides to give qualities, attributes, and characteristics. GOD Almighty decides.
We have to continue having faith in GOD Almighty so we increase. We are reminded to have encouragement.
“A voice says, 'Cry!' And I said, 'What shall I cry?' All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the LORD blows on it; surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our GOD will stand forever.”- Isaiah 40: 6-8
Isaiah tells us this to allow us to know that it is the same GOD Almighty that is telling us about how the word of GOD Almighty is eternal. We know that King Jesus Christ tells us that the word of GOD Almighty is eternal. The same language and the same main idea. The Scriptures tell us that the old heavens and the old earth will pass away, but the word of GOD is eternal. We are told by Isaiah that the word of the LORD will stand forever.
Isaiah is telling us the same thing. GOD Almighty tells us that there is withering and fading of the things of the world. We know that the things of GOD Almighty do not wither and do not fade. The word of GOD Almighty is not affected by the times. The word of GOD Almighty is eternal and infinite. GOD Almighty spoke the word of GOD Almighty with King Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Truth. This is why the word of GOD Almighty is eternal and does not fade. That is the reason why there is so much hatred after the word of GOD Almighty.
The word of GOD Almighty is the truth and is eternal. We learn about the promises of GOD Almighty to Abraham that GOD Almighty is able to provide and able to create a remnant of believers that would allow the nation to continue. GOD Almighty provides for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and they become the people of Israel through Jacob and the Twelve Tribes of Israel. We see that those promises are real. Those promises are infinite and eternal. If the people are able to continue in righteous and faith in GOD Almighty, they are going to keep going because the promises of GOD Almighty are eternal. GOD Almighty can provide.
