Rebuking Homosexuality

 Rebuking Homosexuality

Positive Christianity Series Episode #272

"Observe what I command you this day. Behold, I will drive out before you the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Take care, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you go, lest it become a snare in your midst."- Exodus 34: 11-12

GOD Almighty told us in Exodus about the need to not practice idol worship like the idolatrous hostile nations in the times of Moses. We learn that the wicked idolatrous hostile nations practiced idolatry, adultery, destroyed their newborns, and practiced homosexuality. For those reasons, the wicked were judged by GOD Almighty through Joshua and the righteous of Israel. The Sacred Scriptures tell us that homosexuality is not permitted in the practice of Christianity. We learn that homosexuality is a grave sin and is rebuked in the Old Testament and New Testament. We learn that while we do not kill homosexuals, we are supposed to fight against sin obeying the commandments of Moses, avoid negative individuals who are homosexuals who preach idolatry and sin, and reprove false doctrines of hate and lust. We learn that in our times, we do not kill homosexuals, yet we are supposed to avoid idolators and false prophets who attempt to lead to the practice of sin and idol worship.

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman; both of them have commited an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."- Leviticus 20: 13

In the times of Lot there were homosexuals and even in the times of Moses there were also wicked idolators who were homosexuals from the hostile nations. Wicked individuals that practice grave sin decide to practice homosexuality. Moses received the instruction from GOD Almighty that homosexuality is not allowed. Homosexuality actually occurs due to the practice of idol worship and grave sin. Homosexuality is not permitted in Christianity. Moses described in his time the need to destroy homosexuals because they attempted to lead others to the practice of idol worship and the road of perdition.

In these times, we do not murder homosexuals. We understand that the context in Moses' time was to prevent individuals from practicing foolishness and iniquity. We instead avoid false prophets and wicked idolators who want to deceive into the practice of sin, envy, foolishness, and coveting. We instead allow King Jesus Christ to take the vengeance while we avoid false prophets and idolators who are treacherous and deceitful

King Jesus Christ, the disciples, and apostles told us in the New Testament that homosexuality is not allowed (Romans 1: 24-27, 2 Cephas 2: 4-10, Revelation 21: 8). There are false arguments from false prophets that state that individuals are not supposed to judge homosexuality based on twisting Matthew 7: 1-2, being that the Scripture verse tells us that hypocrisy is not allowed either. Matthew 7: 1-2 tells us that individuals can not be hypocrites. This means that the wicked and hypocritical can not judge the righteous. The righteous are allowed to reprove and rebuke homosexuality that is grave sin and idolatry. This is because the source of hypocrisy is idol worship. We can persevere obeying the commandments of Moses, preaching truth, and avoiding false prophets and idolators who want to lead far from the worship of GOD Almighty. We prefer King Jesus Christ and avoid anything that tries to lead to idol worship and far from GOD Almighty.
