Persevering With Fidelity to GOD Almighty Described in Psalm 23

Positive Christianity Series Episode #342

David described in Psalm 23 the manner that GOD Almighty is present in our day to day lives. We can encourage ourselves by going to Scripture to remind ourselves of the favor and blessings that we have in the worship of GOD Almighty. While David was envied and persecuted for keeping fidelity to GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty never forsook David (Psalm 16: 1-2). We learn that David attests to GOD Almighty's eternal fidelity in Psalm 23.

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies."- Psalm 23: 5

We learn that David was able to persevere in the land of the Philistines and was able to thrive where they had songs of David. David was able to live in Ziklag in Philistia and had all his necessities met despite not practicing idol worship. David never practiced idol worship a single day of his life neither in Israel nor in Philistia. That is why David was so impressive. GOD Almighty guarded David from his enemies and was able to persevere with everything that he needed to keep practicing integrity. We learn that despite living in Philistia, David had authority, persistence, motivation, and everything that he needed to keep worshiping GOD Almighty. David never practiced idol worship while living with the Philistines. Despite being gangstalked, David endured and trusted in GOD Almighty who did not disappoint David. David even obtained the land of Ziklag.

"You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows."- Psalm 23: 5

We learn that GOD Almighty guards us so that we can keep worshiping GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty shelters us in His presence and destroys the attacks of the accuser (Psalm 31: 3-4, Psalm 33: 18-19). David loved GOD Almighty above the temporary things of the world. David was able to persevere and was even given authority in Philistia. We learn that he had abundance and everything that he needed to persist worshiping GOD Almighty.

David was able to trust in GOD Almighty and was able to have authority being king of Israel. David learned from his adversity and decided to keep humbleness and fidelity to GOD Almighty. David instructed the worship of GOD Almighty to Israel. Israel abounded in the worship of GOD Almighty because they worshiped GOD Almighty day and night. David obtained abundance, favor, and blessings that allowed him to prosper. The favor and blessings were impressive because he had even greater than he could imagine obtaining authority and abundance. David improved in the worship of GOD Almighty. David learned from his circumstances and chose to be ethical and just with his authority. The abundance is described in the manner that GOD Almighty favored him with virtues describing equity, equality, power, justice, authority, dominion, and fidelity. David even obtained tribute from the hostile nations yet dedicated the gold, silver, and bronze to the worship of GOD Almighty. David used his virtues and blessings to further worship GOD Almighty and was given additional favor. David describes that his cup overflows because he has everything that he needs and even abundance in the worship of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty being an infinite, eternal, and inexhaustible fountain or river that provides us with everything that we need. King Jesus Christ is the source of living water and eternal salvation. If we have the worship of GOD Almighty, we have everything that we need (Psalm 32: 1-2, Psalm 105). If someones does not have the worship of GOD Almighty, they have nothing (Psalm 106). We learn that practicing integrity and fidelity to GOD Almighty allows us to have favor and blessings. We choose eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ and avoid the road of perdition where the wicked practice idol worship and envy.

"The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned."- Psalm 34: 22

Learning Hebrew

Isaiah, ישיה, means the LORD saves in Hebrew. Isaiah was the name of a prophet of GOD Almighty who preached King Jesus Christ 700 years prior to King Jesus Christ being born. We learn that Isaiah's name is similar to Yahshua Ha Mashiach's name and describes that the Old Testament describes King Jesus Christ's name. Joshua, the assistant of Moses who obeyed Moses and GOD Almighty, also describes King Jesus Christ's name in the Old Testament. We learn that in the New Testament, King Jesus Christ is similar to David. King Jesus Christ was able to heal, preach, instruct obedience to GOD Almighty, and Resurrect from the dead. King Jesus Christ was not idolatrous, did not love money, did not have a personal army, did not have diplomacy with the nations, and yet still Resurrected from the dead being the Eternal and Infinite King of kings. We decide to worship the Eternal Messiah and not impostors.
