In this episode of Resurrection Radio Podcast, we learn about the importance of being humble in order to prevent the ego and arrogance from being stumbling blocks in our faith. We learn through the Book of Isaiah, that GOD Almighty wants us to walk humbly and to trust in GOD Almighty. We learn that there is a need for repentance when there is sin.
We also learn about the need for Christian believers to continue believing with faith in GOD Almighty. We learn that through Isaiah, we are told about the 1,000 year reign of King Jesus Christ. In Revelation we learn that GOD Almighty tells us of the millennial reign, but in Isaiah we are given additional details. Through Isaiah, we learn about the importance of humbleness in gaining entrance into Heaven.
We can also learn about the good things and blessings that are given to those that have faith in GOD Almighty. We are able to have great gifts of GOD Almighty including joy, love, peace, understanding, wisdom, authority, dominion, and sovereignty through King Jesus Christ. We learn that we are given abundance through the King of kings if we continue to have faith in the word of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth.

Obadiah Tells Us About Apportioning of Land
“Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.”- Obadiah 21
I did not understand previously, it does not seem to correlate. But now it correlates with Isaiah 61 giving us context about the events of Revelation Chapter 20. In context to other Scriptures it correlates with Isaiah 61. First the events of Revelation up to Chapter 20 and then we go to Isaiah 61 that tells us that GOD Almighty will give land. That land that is being apportioned is specific that in Obadiah it tells those designations. We learn about the Day of the LORD when King Jesus Christ returns. We learn about when King Jesus Christ will return in the Book of Joel. The last part of the Great Tribulation, those individuals that are in Jerusalem will be saved if they call on the name of the LORD. That is truth. That is prophecy.
Those remnant of Jacob will possess the land and grow. They are described as fire. They are described with the qualities of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty is an all consuming fire. They believe in GOD Almighty. How do we have the Spirit of Truth? Through King Jesus Christ. All consuming fire that consumes the foes. This is the same language used in Malachi. This is what King Jesus Christ is telling us when He returns. The Day of the LORD is when King Jesus Christ returns.
Instead of having this belief of difficulties, we have to shift and see the joy amidst the difficulties. There is wisdom to learn. There are things we still have to learn through faith and continue moving forward. There are things that we still have to learn. I had not thought of Obadiah speaking to apportioning of the land. That is what it is speaking to. What are we going to do for a thousand years? Apportioning of the land, growing crops, and good things without sin, evil, death, or the workers of evil. That is already positive. There is going to be great advancements and joy.
“Those of the Negeb shall possess Mount Esau, and those of the Shephelah shall possess the land of the Philistines; they shall possess the land of Ephraim and the land of Samaria, and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. The exiles of the host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the Negeb. Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.”- Obadiah 19-21
Saviors will go up to Mount Zion. Who are the saviors? Those individuals that are like King Jesus Christ. Those individuals that are like King Jesus Christ will be in Mount Zion. King Jesus Christ is going to reign from Jerusalem for a Thousand Years and then the New Jerusalem after the Thousand Years. New Jerusalem will be given after the Thousand Years of King Jesus Christ. Jerusalem and New Jerusalem are cherished by GOD Almighty. Individuals are going to go to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau. They have authority, dominion, and sovereignty and they rule. This is after the Day of the LORD. Who has Mount Zion? King Jesus Christ who has authority, dominion, and sovereignty.
Who has authority? King Jesus Christ. After the Thousand Years Reign, we have New Jerusalem.
“I will repair the booth of David. They shall possess Edom.”
“The kingdom shall be the LORD's.”- Obadiah 15-21
Who's kingdom is this? King Jesus Christ. We know there are a Thousand Years and then there is eternity. Amos tells about a specific prophecy.
“ 'And repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins and rebuilt it as in the days of old, that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name,' declares the LORD who does this.”- Amos 9: 11-12
Amos Tells of Restoration and Regeneration
There is
restoration. What is this speaking about? The great earthquake after
the seventh bowl for Jerusalem to be split into three parts and the
rest of the cities do not exist any longer. The earthquake devastates
all the cities except Jerusalem which is split in three parts.
Jerusalem is not made a complete de
vastation. The earth is destroyed
but not completely. This means that GOD Almighty can renovate and
recreate. Even with the difficulties, the world exists. The world
still exists but at some point there will not be evil or evil doers,
and the earth will regenerate itself through GOD Almighty. This is
like individuals who are evil, they go through difficulties. Like
Paul, who was Saul but becomes Paul and becomes new. When they call
on the name of GOD Almighty, they are regenerated and are made
better.
What are we going to do for a Thousand Years? We are going to rebuild.
“In that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen and repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins”- Amos 9: 11
Booth has an understanding of annexation that they place to a house to provide shade but it is outside. There are traditions in Israel to celebrate with booths in a specific festivity. Not all kings honored GOD Almighty. As long as they honored GOD Almighty, they were going to have a king on the throne. At some point, they decided to commit idolatry and there is no throne. This tells us that the booth of David had fallen because there were no righteous individuals to fulfill their part.
King Jesus Christ is sent to fulfill that part. When King Jesus Christ returns, that part is changed. We know there are going to be kings through King Jesus Christ, and king priests that are given authority by King Jesus Christ. The priest kings are the connection to the time of David and those righteous kings that were still considered righteous by GOD Almighty. Like the righteous kings like David and Hezekiah, we are going to connect that time line with righteous believers. The booth of David is repaired through King Jesus Christ. It is not Christian believers only, but King Jesus Christ who is able to do this. King Jesus Christ allows us to be reconciled to GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty protects us and honors us. GOD Almighty calls us priest kings. The language is vivid concerning the booth of David that is fallen because of sin. They did not have that sovereignty or freedom, but we have that back through King Jesus Christ. Repair its breaches means that the earth will need reparations and need to be rebuilt from its ruins.
The earth is not going to be like it was in the past. It is going to need to be rebuilt. It is going to need to be built up. It is going to be brand new.
“That they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that are called by my name.”- Amos 9: 12
Like what we read in Obadiah, they are going to possess Mount Esau. Edom is from the nation of Esau. Also the nations, they were also going to possess. That is what GOD Almighty decides.
“ 'Behold, the days are coming,' declares the LORD, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed;”- Amos 9: 13
Abundance, Spiritual Growth, and Prophecies Fulfilled
This gives us understanding and clarity. This is only through the Spirit of Truth. These prophecies may not make sense until taken into context. Obadiah speaks in 570 B.C. they had just gone through the Chaldean exile. How are they going to take possession of the land, the Shephelah, Ephraim, and Gilead if they are in captivity? It is not in his time. Obadiah tells of the prophecy. This is after the Day of the LORD. First the Day of the LORD and then all of that. Going to Revelation, then Isaiah, then Obadiah, and Amos.

In Amos we learn that there is going to be overproduction of resources. Usually, there are individuals who sow and reap. Those that reap are going to be greater than those that sow. How can that happen? To the logical mind? There is a time of sowing and then reaping. Usually more sowing that reaping. But GOD Almighty decides that there is going to be an abundance. This is prophetic to the future. This is not in the time of Amos. Amos spoke in 760 B.C. 190 years before Obadiah and says there is a time when the plowman shall overtake the reaper. The treader of wine will tread in greater amount than those that plant the seeds. What is the visual representation of this? There will be wine in the mountains. There is going to be an abundance of resources.
This is going to be unimaginable. Dripping of sweet wine in the mountains and the hills. How is this possible? That is what GOD Almighty says. The House of David will be rebuilt through King Jesus Christ. There is going to be new priest kings, new priests, and new kings who are going to rule with King Jesus Christ for that time. New land being given that King Jesus Christ designates. There will be abundant resources given by King Jesus Christ. Those that are reaping are going to be greater than those that sow. There are going to be the necessities that we need. We will also have wine in the hills and mountains. That is the abundance of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty wants to give good things.
“I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.”- Amos 9: 14
This could be in the time after the Chaldean exile, but there was no time when this has happened. They have not been able to possess Edom or all the nations that are called by GOD Almighty's name. The time after the Chaldean exile was not likely. The time after the Roman scattering that did not happen. They were scattered for a great amount of time. When they returned in 1947 and 1948, they were not all returned. So this has not happened. This is happening when King Jesus Christ returns. So that is the description. That is interesting.
““I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel,”- Amos 9: 14
When was Israel at the peak, when David was king. David was able to grow the kingdom through faith in GOD Almighty. Solomon had the kingdom divided because of idolatry. We are going to have our fortunes restored like in the time of David. People will rebuild the ruined cities. This is from the events of Revelation that there is a great earthquake that devastates the cities of the nations, and Jerusalem is split in three. They need rebuilding. People will inhabit the cities.
“And they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them;”- Amos 9: 14
The cities will be rebuilt and need to be inhabited.
“They shall plant vineyards and drink their wine,”- Amos 9: 14
We are going to drink wine in the Thousand Year Reign of King Jesus Christ. Learn about GOD Almighty, plant vineyards, drink wine, eat fruit, and rebuild the cities.
“And they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.”- Amos 9: 14
“ 'I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,' says the LORD your GOD.” Amos 9: 15
King Jesus Christ says the meek in spirit will inherit the land. This is New Earth. The reconstructed earth after the events of Revelation. Revelation Chapter 20.
