Episode: “Psalm 89, Reproof, and Faith”
Introduction
Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. We spoke previously about the specific chapters in the Book of Chronicles of the specific kings that were considered righteous. Some of them were considered righteous at some points in their lives because they decided to worship GOD Almighty over the things of the world. It is interesting seeing how there is that description stated in Deuteronomy that GOD Almighty was going to provide for them as long as they decided to obey GOD Almighty over everything in life.
King David Exhibits Faith
That is why David is that example of righteousness and faith. Even with those difficult circumstances, David went to GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty prospered David and strengthened David. GOD Almighty grew David. GOD Almighty improved David and renovated and regenerated David to persevere moving forward and glorify GOD Almighty. Because of this, regardless if it was a good time or not a good time, GOD Almighty was seeing that David was honoring and praising GOD Almighty.
For other kings, we learn that Rehoboam is able to praise GOD Almighty and begins to grow in might, but thinks that the might is his. We see how there are difficulties. When Rehoboam humbles himself to GOD Almighty, we learn that GOD Almighty prospers Rehoboam and the kingdom of Judah. We know that there is that reminder of having faith in GOD Almighty and having a belief in GOD Almighty so that we are able to know that GOD Almighty cares for us. GOD Almighty wants us to pray to GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty wants to know our point of view.
GOD Almighty knows all perspectives and points of view because He is Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Indestructible, Infinite, Eternal, and Almighty among other qualities that the human mind cannot understand. Reading from Scripture having the understanding that the eyes of GOD Almighty go around all the earth to see what is happening and is able to offer strong support to the blameless. Even in the difficulties, we are able to pray to GOD Almighty, and GOD Almighty is able to provide help even in the difficulties. GOD Almighty offers strong support. That is what happens for David.
That is what happens for Rehoboam. That is what happens for Abijam. That is what happens for Asa. That is what happens for Jehoshaphat. There is the continuation of the righteousness of GOD Almighty. They also started to make reforms in the land in order for the people to go and worship the True GOD Almighty instead of worshiping the false gods and idols like other nations. We know Israel follows like the nations surrounding them, and they begin to have difficulties. They begin to have different circumstances that lead to the absence of peace, joy, love, hope, grace, understanding, wisdom, dominion, sovereignty, and authority that GOD Almighty gives.
The Promise of GOD Almighty to David
For the kingdom of Judah, they do receive difficulties in the practice of idolatry because they obey the word of GOD Almighty. We had spoken about that Psalm that tells that GOD Almighty is able to provide for the people. There is that specific promise to David that the steadfast love of GOD Almighty was for David. For this reason GOD Almighty chose David over everyone so that David could be a servant of GOD Almighty. David is that suffering servant and tells us how King Jesus Christ was going to accomplish similar actions like David. When King Jesus Christ returns and arrives to earth, we know that will be the completion of the Conquering King of kings part spoken in Revelation.
We learn that even through difficulties that David goes through, he is still able to worship GOD Almighty. David is seen as a great king. One of the greatest kings, in the Book of the Prophets, if not the greatest king from the Book of the Prophets. In the New Testament, we learn that King Jesus Christ is the King of kings. King Jesus Christ is the greatest king of all time. We learn that David is one of the greatest kings of all time. There is that reminder of having faith in GOD Almighty because the faith can allow us to persevere moving forward and glorify GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty offers that wisdom, joy, understanding, peace, might, love, grace, authority, sovereignty, freedom and dominion that is all provided for by GOD Almighty.
GOD Almighty can give specific attributes, qualities, and characteristics that are able to increase to those that are faithful to GOD Almighty and are considered righteous. GOD Almighty can also give favor to nations. The growth potential is infinite for individuals that choose to deny idolatry and worship GOD Almighty over everything. That is what we see in David. That is why Israel grows under David because of that immense faith. That is what we see in Moses. They grow because of that immense faith. That is what we see in King Jesus Christ. Israel grows because of that immense faith. Those righteous believers that have a righteous belief allows for prosperity, miracles, and GOD Almighty's faithfulness to allow for abundance. Through the leadership of Moses, Joshua, with David, righteous kings like King Asa and King Jehoshaphat,and King Jesus Christ. We see this similar understanding.
These are the individuals that decided to worship GOD Almighty over everything in life. GOD Almighty is able to provide the manner that GOD Almighty resolves, abounds, and improves individuals. We cannot even imagine. Only through reading Scripture can we understand the manner that GOD Almighty give the wisdom, authority, sovereignty, understanding, might, joy, strength, and freedom to persevere.
Psalm 89 Reminds Us of the Faithfulness of GOD Almighty
We are reminding ourselves of Psalm 89:
“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; To all generations will I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth. For I have said: ‘For ever is mercy built; In the very heavens Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness.”
We read that the faithfulness of GOD Almighty is eternal. The faith of David is immeasurable. We read this in the specific chapters of Genesis how the promises that GOD Almighty gives to Abraham and Sarah and to his eternal descendants are true promises. Only until Israel decides to sin and worship the idols do they have difficulties in the Promised Land. As far as GOD Almighty's faithfulness goes, GOD Almighty is faithful. We do not doubt GOD Almighty. We doubt the things of the world. The thing is to be light in the world. We are meant to be different amidst everything. We are meant to glorify GOD Almighty because we know that the word of GOD Almighty is eternal.
Because the word of GOD Almighty is eternal, our faith is in the word of GOD Almighty. Our faith is eternal. The things of the world are trying to cause righteous believers to believe falsehoods or perceived perceptions that are not real. We have to persevere worshiping GOD Almighty. David is making sure that he is holding on to the eternal. Making sure that he is holding on to the word of GOD Almighty. Holding on to the belief of GOD Almighty, and is able to persevere. We learn that it is not only the kings, it is not only David, when Solomon is righteous this happens for Solomon, when Rehoboam is righteous this happens for Rehoboam, and for King Abijam, King Asa, and King Jehoshaphat when they make sure that they are worshiping GOD Almighty.
This is seen in the manner that they were making sure that the word of GOD Almighty was being preached. Very similar to what the disciples and apostles were doing with those reformations. The priests and the elders and heads of households and the Levitical priesthood made sure to preach all over the land and not only in Judah. Not only in the kingdom of Jehoshaphat, even to Israel he would send to Ephraim in the northern countries to allow the people to know the word of GOD Almighty. That is preaching the Gospel. That is preaching the good news. Preaching the word of GOD Almighty. Preaching the truth. That is preaching the belief in GOD Almighty. Knowing that GOD Almighty has control over everything and we have to praise GOD Almighty over everything.

The purpose of this blog is the glorification of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
