“But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the GOD of my salvation; my GOD will hear me. Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgments for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall look upon his vindication.”- Micah 7: 7-9
We learn in the prophet Micah that there are similar realizations about what the end times will look like. We learn from 2 Timothy 3 by Paul that individuals would not live like they have in the past in the peace of GOD Almighty because they do not believe in GOD Almighty. We learn in Micah that we are told about how society will behave.
We learn from Micah that the people will be wanting to practice sin instead of believing in GOD Almighty. We learn that this leads to a separation of the people from GOD Almighty. This causes the people who are left in the world to be deceived and attempt to deceive. We learn that individuals will go after sin and this will lead to difficulties for them. We learn that through sin, individuals are led to destruction. What we learn about Micah is that he is able to provide us with hope amidst the difficult times.
What we are to do is avoid such people and then also wait for GOD Almighty to issue justice. We learn that GOD Almighty will be able to provide even through the difficulties. Micah reminds us that we are to wait on the LORD because He will destroy the wicked. While the wicked think that sin allows them to prosper, we learn that is not the reality. We are reminded how King Jesus Christ has absolute authority since the time of the Resurrection, in the present, and for the future, and eternity. GOD Almighty will give justice when GOD Almighty's time of grace is ended.
While the circumstances of society appear to be a specific manner, we learn that GOD Almighty decides to issue justice. We are reminded by Micah to see the positive instead of the negative. Instead of paying attention to how society functions in the end times, we are able to pay attention to how we can glorify GOD Almighty despite everything. We know that even when we are mocked or slandered, we are at peace in King Jesus Christ who knows what is happening and has individuals in Heaven writing down what is happening on earth with each person's actions and intentions for their actions.
We learn that GOD Almighty will bring us out to the light. We will not be in darkness because only those that are reserved for GOD Almighty's justice are reserved for darkness, fire, and the absence of GOD Almighty. We know that we can be at peace knowing that everything we have gone through is not in vain and is with a purpose that allows us to be at peace. We are reminded that GOD Almighty is a GOD of Vengeance that will take justice for us faithful believers like GOD Almighty took vengeance against those that went against Moses, David, Mary, and King Jesus Christ.
