Episode: “Repentance of Sin, Deuteronomy, and Righteousness”
Introduction
Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. We spoke in the previous episodes of Resurrection Radio Podcast about the understandings of Jeremiah and knowing about the difficulties that happened during the Chaldean exile. There was that need to preach repentance of sin. That is how we start to obtain favor from GOD Almighty, it is through the repentance of sin and then obeying the commandments. We need to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this life. That is how we are able to persevere. That is what GOD Almighty wants us to know that there are difficulties in Israel from what we read in Scripture because of disobedience and not wanting to obey the word of GOD Almighty.
“That is how we start to obtain favor from GOD Almighty, it is through the repentance of sin and then obeying the commandments.”
The Book of Deuteronomy Tells Us of GOD Almighty Providing for Israel
We know that if we obey the word of GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is able to provide. When we are Christians at first, we question how GOD Almighty is able to provide through out faith. GOD Almighty is faithful. GOD Almighty is able to provide faithfulness to those that are righteous. That is what we read in Scripture from David. GOD Almighty does not forsake David, Joseph, Jacob, Moses, Mary, King Jesus Christ, the disciples and apostles. GOD Almighty is righteous and is able to provide for us the manner that we can persevere. GOD Almighty is allowing us to obtain good things. This is so that we can obtain favor, blessings, and goodness. When we read about Israel in the Scriptures, we know that GOD Almighty was providing great things for Israel. GOD Almighty was leading them from the land of idolatry to the land of abundance. From the land of Egypt to the land of Canaan that later is known as the land of Israel.
“We know that through obeying the word of GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is faithful.”
We read about the description given to the land:
“For the LORD your GOD is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out in the valleys and hills, a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey, a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper. And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the LORD your GOD for the good land he has given you.”- Deuteronomy 8: 7-10
This is knowing that there is favor, blessings, and goodness given through faithfulness. GOD Almighty was calling the people to be set apart and to be different. This is to be righteous. That is why GOD Almighty provides favor. That is why we read that Abraham and Sarah receive favor from GOD Almighty. It was not because of the numbers, but because GOD Almighty cared about faithfulness. GOD Almighty wanted individuals to honor and glorify GOD Almighty. We read about examples prior to Abraham who are given great favor for their obedience to GOD Almighty. We read in Scripture about Enosh in Genesis how Enosh is considered righteous. Enosh walked with GOD Almighty. This is saying that Enosh is considered righteous. When there is that description from Scripture, we know that the individuals were obeying the word of GOD Almighty. They were choosing to glorify GOD Almighty over the things of the world.
“GOD Almighty wants individuals to honor, praise, and glorify GOD Almighty.”
The Righteous Are Established in Righteousness
GOD Almighty gives the righteous favor, blessings, and goodness. We read in the Book of Enosh about so much that is spoken about from his time and even to the times of Noah. GOD Almighty gives great favor for Enosh to persevere glorifying GOD Almighty and obeying the word of GOD Almighty. Enosh is given prophecy in the Spirit of Truth about things that were going to happen even after the time of Noah, to the times of King Jesus Christ, and even to times after the return of King Jesus Christ from the clouds. That is how much favor he is given to understand this. We learn that Enosh is considered righteous and is favored by GOD Almighty. Enoch is allowed to persevere and we read that there is understanding of the need to be righteous to abound.
“Enosh is given prophecy in the Spirit of Truth about things that were going to happen even after the time of Noah, to the times of King Jesus Christ, and even to times after the return of King Jesus Christ from the clouds.”
We begin to read in the Book of Deuteronomy about how GOD Almighty was giving great favor for the people. This favor can be in different manners. In the manner that we read in Deuteronomy, GOD Almighty was providing for the manner that GOD Almighty was going to provide for the people the necessities that they were going to need. There was going to be land that was going to have necessities like water, springs, figs, honey, bread, and they were going to lack nothing. This is what GOD Almighty is providing. They were going to lack nothing.
“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.”- Psalm 23
The LORD is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Want
There is nothing lacking when we have GOD Almighty. Knowing this, we know that through this abundance, individuals were going to bless GOD Almighty. There is the context that there are good things that are from GOD Almighty. We read in the Books of Moses that these are promises from GOD Almighty of Israel having the land, but then in the Book of Joshua, we read that the people are able to obtain the land and describe the land like GOD Almighty had described the land. GOD Almighty describes the land, and we read that the people in the times of Joshua describe the land in a similar manner. When there is disobedience from Israel not obeying the word of GOD Almighty, we know that there are four hundred years when there are no prophets sent. We learn that the land is not producing and not like it was described in the Book of Joshua. There are all these difficulties that happen. That is what sin does. Sin tries to make individuals forsake GOD Almighty.
“We read in the Books of Moses that these are promises from GOD Almighty of Israel having the land, and then in the Book of Joshua, we read that the people are able to obtain the land and describe the land like GOD Almighty had described the land.”
The land is described in different manners from the Book of Moses and the Book of Joshua to the land being described by the prophet Joel or Malachi. In that time of Moses, we read that when the people were walking in the desert, they did not lack anything. They did not have their clothes wear out and their health was perfect. There were no difficulties. GOD Almighty was providing. That is what GOD Almighty can do. GOD Almighty can provide when we are righteous. Those that make it to the land of abundance, they are able to see how GOD Almighty can provide in the land. They are able to have good things. Not only do they have eternal salvation for glorifying GOD Almighty, but they obtain good things in this life. They are able to fulfill the purpose of GOD Almighty.

The Land of Canaan is Described as the Land of Abundance
The land is described as having abundance because GOD Almighty was favoring them through righteousness. We read that there may be individuals that question why the land was not producing like this in the times prior to King Jesus Christ. This is because of the false philosophies that were false belief systems leading individuals to forsake the word of GOD Almighty. Individuals then do not want to believe in the word of GOD Almighty and wanted to believe false philosophies. We read that the land does not produce in the manner that it is described in the Book of Deuteronomy. We learn that the land of Israel is the land of abundance and the land of the glorification of GOD Almighty. We read about that description. We read how GOD Almighty describes to Abraham the land and how the land is described in the Book of Joshua.

When we read about the description of the land in the Gospel, we read that there are difficulties with the land and the people because of lukewarm worship. In the Book of Joel, we read that Israel did not believe with a full heart and whole heart. GOD Almighty still says that there is the time to repent from sin and repent from idolatry. Even when there is sin and difficulties from the practice of grave sin causing the land to not produce, there is still time to repent prior to destruction and judgment.

Restoration of Fortunes, Favor, and Abundance Through Repentance of Sin
“And when
all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I
have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations
where the LORD your GOD has driven you, and
return to the LORD your GOD, you and your children, and obey his
voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with
all your soul, then the LORD your GOD will restore your fortunes and
have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples
where the LORD your GOD has scattered you.”- Deuteronomy 30: 1-3 "Moses Describes the Importance of Repentance of Sin"
This is saying that even though there is great difficulty for not obeying the word of GOD Almighty, if there is repentance of sin then there is the regeneration, restoration, and renewal that GOD Almighty can provide. GOD Almighty wants to provide great things. That is why GOD Almighty created creation to provide for individuals. To provide for humanity, but wickedness tries to cause us to stray from GOD Almighty and those blessings, favor, and abundance that GOD Almighty wants to give. Even when there is wickedness, there is still time for repentance. We read about Manasseh. A wicked individual. Manasseh is the son of Hezekiah, who is righteous. We read Manasseh repents of wickedness and repents of sin and decides to obey GOD Almighty.
“This is saying that even though there is great difficulty for not obeying the word of GOD Almighty, if there is repentance of sin then there is regeneration, restoration, and renewal that GOD Almighty can provide.”
Manasseh repents and provides zealous worship to GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty is able to forgive and atones for the sins. GOD Almighty gives salvation. There is restoration of fortunes. The difficulties that the individual had because of wickedness are no longer remembered because the individual repents with sincerity of heart. The individual repents and abounds. This is speaking to the story of Manasseh. We also know about the story of Paul. I made an episode of GOD Almighty providing for Paul. There is still time for repentance. There is that renovation, restoration, and regeneration that GOD Almighty provides.

Preaching Repentance of Sin to Remove Difficulties
We read that there are times when there are difficulties in Israel, and the need for the preaching of repentance of sin. This is to try to avoid the Chaldean exile in the times of Jeremiah. Not only is there wickedness, but when there is the sending of prophets so that the people can repent the unrepentant sinners decide to persecute instead of repent. We read that in the story of Jeremiah, there is persecution and hatred against the prophets. There is persecution and hatred by the wicked against the prophets. GOD Almighty is sending them to preach the need to repent of sin so that there is improvement in the individuals and the nation and the creation. There is that understanding.

When we read about Israel, there is that understanding that the land is producing in the times of Moses and Joshua. Then there is a very different description from the times of Joel and King Jesus Christ. The land is not described in the similar manner. What has happened throughout that time? Sin and wickedness. If individuals are to repent of sin, we read that the land is described as providing abundance in the times of David and Hezekiah prior to the times of the Chaldean exile. We learn that through those cycles of belief and disbelief, the land produces when there is faith and does not produce in disbelief. GOD Almighty provides for the righteous through faith. This is difficult to understand, but for righteous Christians who have gone through so much, we know that faith is able to produce favor, blessings, and goodness.

King Jesus Christ Preaches Repentance of Sin to Create Renovation, Renewal, and Regeneration
When we preach the word of GOD Almighty and preach repentance, the importance of this is so that through our faith and belief, people, nations, and the land is improved. GOD Almighty provides for us. GOD Almighty provides for the righteous. The land is described as perfect in the times of Moses and Joshua, and GOD Almighty lets us know the truth. We are able to read Scripture to understand what is happening. Why are these difficulties happening? The question is not only about there being difficulties, but how can there be improvement? GOD Almighty allows this through the repentance of sin. This is so the land can abound and produce. This is so individuals can heal themselves. We learn that King Jesus Christ is able to heal individuals who had faith in GOD Almighty providing for them.
“When we preach the word of GOD Almighty and preach repentance, the importance of this is so that through faith and zeal, people, nations, and the land are improved.”
We read about specific difficulties in the time prior to King Jesus Christ, but GOD Almighty providing restoration, renewal, and regeneration through King Jesus Christ. The disciples and apostles persevere because of righteousness. Whenever we read about those stories, we read about the repentance that is needed to have renewal, renovation, and restoration. GOD Almighty is faithful and is able to send the prophets to preach repentance of sin. Instead of repenting of sin, there is persecution against the prophets and then there is the Chaldean exile. The individuals were forsaking the word of GOD Almighty and the reproof. We have to repent of sin and then fight against sin. This is so that sin is not a lifestyle.

GOD Almighty Creates and Maintains Creation
We read about stories about individuals given grace, favor, and help through zealous faith. We read in the story of Elijah how righteousness helps for the land to provide. We learn there was still wickedness. There is that need for repentance of sin so that the land and the people can abound. We read that Ahab and Jezebel decide to continue in wickedness, and GOD Almighty is able to be just for the righteous. The righteous are established. GOD Almighty still gives grace to the wicked. This is speaking about how GOD Almighty is a Righteous, Gracious, and Merciful GOD Almighty and also gives justice and vengeance against the wicked. GOD Almighty is also righteous because he gives time for repentance. That is why we do not question GOD Almighty. We question the sin, evil, and the world.

When we read about the difficulties of the land, we also read how it is able to produce based on faith. GOD Almighty is the Creator. In Genesis GOD Almighty creates the earth, the skies, and the heavens. The sun, the moon, the stars, the rivers, the oceans, the springs of water, and even within that creation, GOD Almighty does not just create and say that is it. GOD Almighty creates and gives order to everything. GOD Almighty gives order to the sun, the moon, and the stars, the waters, the specific order that GOD Almighty has decided for creation. We know that the creation can provide. If the individuals sow and maintain and cultivate, there is great yield that the land can produce. We know that there is abundance to be made when there is righteousness, and the land produces an increase. This is compared to when there is wickedness and the land does not produce. When there is wickedness, the land does not produce in a similar manner.
“GOD Almighty creates and gives order to everything.”

We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
