Using Scripture to Defend the Heart and the Mind Described in Jeremiah 29: 8
“For thus says the LORD of hosts, the GOD of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream, for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you in my name; I did not send them, declares the LORD.”- Jeremiah 29: 8
In the Book of Jeremiah, we read about the manner that the people of Israel were practicing idolatry that was leading to difficulties with the land. We read that GOD Almighty sends the prophet Jeremiah to preach the need for repentance of sin. This speaks to the need to not partake in sin and to obey the word of GOD Almighty in obedience to the commandments of Moses and the zealous worship of GOD Almighty to be able to obtain the favor of GOD Almighty. This speaks that when the people were going to the Chaldean exile, GOD Almighty was still allowing the righteous to survive and thrive and obtain favor within the land of exile. This speaks to GOD Almighty telling the righteous that we are able to obey GOD Almighty despite the difficulties.
We read about the manner that there were false belief systems and idolatry that was attempting to lead the people to not partake in the worship of GOD Almighty. There were the temporary lies that were spoken by the false prophets that wanted to tell the people other things. We read that Jeremiah is sent to preach and tell the people of the need to repent. We read that the people were able to obtain favor in the land and if they decided to repent of sin and glorify GOD Almighty above everything, they were going to be able to increase in their land. We read that GOD Almighty tells us of the manner that through our obedience to the commandments of Moses and worshiping, praising, and glorifying GOD Almighty, we are able to obtain salvation and eternal salvation in repenting of sin and worshiping GOD Almighty above everything.
We read that the people in the time of Jeremiah were choosing to sin and there were false belief systems that stated that there would be no difficulties because of partaking in false philosophies of sin and idolatry. GOD Almighty tells us of the need to not partake in sin and to fight sin. We read that King Jesus Christ is prophesied in the word of GOD Almighty and speaks to the manner that through King Jesus Christ, we are able to have eternal life through obeying the commandments of Moses, having faith and zeal, and accepting King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. We learn that the Chaldean exile occurs, yet the righteous faithful are able to return to their land after the specified time that GOD Almighty states. We read that they are able to rebuild and increase. When there is the glorification, praise, and worship of GOD Almighty, we read that the people have favor and are able to increase. We read that when there is lukewarm faith and belief, there are difficulties. We read that the promises given to David are fulfilled through King Jesus Christ. We read that King Jesus Christ preaches repentance and speaks to the need to glorify, praise, and worship GOD Almighty, obey the commandments of Moses, and have faith and zeal in the worship of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth.

We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
