Denying Temptations (Fame)

 Denying Temptations (Fame)

Positive Christianity Series Episode #215

GOD Almighty instructs us on the need to trust in GOD Almighty over the temporary things of the world. We learn that GOD Almighty has favor and blessings for the righteous, yet we need to persevere in the path of eternal salvation. We know that there is nothing in this temporary world that compares with eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ. We learn that GOD Almighty loves us and wants to help us persevere to Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem. We can persevere worshiping GOD Almighty above everything. We learn that the snake attempts to tempt with temporary lies so that individuals go astray to the path of perdition. We learn that the snake tempted Eve and Adam to disobey GOD Almighty and instead of helping them, caused them to leave paradise.

"The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death."- Proverbs 14: 27

If we love GOD Almighty above everything and obey the commandments of Moses, we are not going to practice sin nor idol worship. We know that the snake does not like individuals seen in the stories of Adam and Eve, Balaam, the hostile and idolatrous nations that were hostile to Moses and Israel, and Pharaoh. We learn that the snake wants to cause envy so that the commandments of Moses are disobeyed. We learn that Scripture describes why we can not believe the temporary lies of the snake. Even in modern times, we have seen stories of individuals that were tempted by the snake to obtain fame and fortune and only caused difficulties and destruction. We learn that the snake wants to tempt into the practice of sin and idol worship. We learn in modern times in the 1950's about the story of Elvis Presley. We learn that he grew up in a conservative family that went to church and believed. Because of this, the snake tempted Elvis with fame and fortune. In the 1950's, Elvis became known for being a musician and singer. Elvis also would incorporate lascivious gyrations into his dances seeing how lust was attempted to be normalized in the 1950's through music. We learn that in the 1950's the United States was predominantly Christian, valued the family structure, and had prosperity. Due to the envy of the snake, we learn that music was used to attempt to lead to sin and idol worship especially in the 1970's with music that spoke about drug use and attempted to normalize lust.

"There is severe discipline for him who forsakes the path; whoever hates reproof will die."- Proverbs 15: 10

Elvis probably grew up going to church and singing in the choir when he was younger. Due to the values and belief that his conservative family taught, the snake attempted to tempt Elvis and lead him far from Christianity. The snake attempts to tempt individuals with temporary lies so that they are led far from the worship of GOD Almighty. Elvis Presley would choose fame and fortune that led to significant difficulties for Elvis. While being promoted as the top musician in the 1950's, Elvis began to be affected by lust, fornication, and idolatry. Elvis was idolized, and there are stories that state that this led him to lust and fornication. We learn that Elvis Presley would die in his early forties due to a drug overdose of sleeping medication and alcohol. The story of Elvis describes the snares of temptation that attempt to lead to grave sin and idolatry. While the snake says that there is nothing wrong with lust and fornication, it tries to lead to negative emotions and separation from the worship of GOD Almighty.

We learn that fame is a method of ensnarement and temptation that the snake uses to lead to grave sin. Fame is not the source of happiness although it is described deceptively as a source of happiness by false doctrines. Fame actually attempts to lead to self-worship that is idolatry. We know that we are created to worship GOD Almighty and not ourselves nor idols. We learn that for Elvis Presley the fame drove him to the practice of lust and fornication. We know that is not the source of serenity and happiness because he overdosed at an early age from mixing alcohol and medications. We learn that fornication attempts to lead to other types of grave sin and does not look to help individuals. The story of Elvis Presley is an important example of why we can not seek fame that attempts to lead to other vices. Instead we know that we can persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that fame and fortune are snares that try to lead to grave sin and destruction if there is no repentance of sin. We learn that fame is not the source of happiness and instead we choose King Jesus Christ

If Spotify links do not work, the GreatnessWithinUs.Life site has older articles with audio. Not sure if Spotify links do not work based on envy or human error. Most likely envy due to the times prior to the great tribulation and speaking truth, filial love, logic,  and repentance of sin. I am going to keep preaching and having gratitude for not practicing idol worship, not being covid "vaccinated" (not even once), and not having to tell temporary lies. I am able to persevere with gratitude and true joy amidst living in not the best of times. Hallelu JAH!

I keep persevering and having gratitude amidst the times that we are living in that are not the best of times. While the false prophets have attempted to prevent the Spotify audio links from working among so many other attempts to discourage including freezing or preventing my debit card from working since about the time the covid “vaccines” started being implemented, preventing me from cashing in cashier checks at the local store, being unable to withdraw funds from 401k (no answer from phone line workers), false prophets making random noises during the day including yelling non-sense, getting on the apartment roof to scratch the roof, and knock at random intervals, preventing the ability to work, preventing the ability to return back to school to get a Master's degree and keep on receiving an education, preventing access to Wordpress, creating app pop-up messages to prevent me from writing, closing apps multiple times, cyber attacking a laptop and preventing me from logging in, changing the voltage of the electricity to cause a desktop computer to malfunction, and overall attempting to intimidate, cause envy, and anger, I am able to persevere knowing that we await the return of King Jesus Christ. Even amidst all this, I am going to keep preaching knowing that there is encouragement amidst the times that we live in.These are definitely not the best of times knowing that there is envy and cowardice from the false prophets who definitely do not like individuals to prosper and improve in the worship of GOD Almighty consistent with Scripture. Even amidst the attempts to discourage, I have gratitude that I am not covid “vaccinated” (not even once), am able to exercise everyday minimum thirty minutes a day trusting in my immune system that GOD Almighty created and in GOD Almighty, and can keep preaching and writing amidst the not so good times that we live in. I have gratitude to GOD Almighty for allowing me to persevere even amidst attempts by envy to discourage and demotivate knowing that I do not place my worth in temporary material resources and false “relationships”.Instead I choose to worship King Jesus Christ, the Eternal King of Kings. I am going to keep preaching and keep writing for the worship of GOD Almighty knowing that there are books being written in heaven concerning the good and bad that each individual has done. We must persevere obeying the commandments and trusting in GOD Almighty.

"If GOD is for us who can be against us."

"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD in Christ Jesus our LORD."- Romans 8: 38-39

We know that for those that love GOD Almighty all things work together for good for those that are called according to His purpose.”- Romans 8: 28

"The Scriptures (Bible) is the only book whose Author is always present when one reads it."

King Jesus Christ in the Book of Luke

For the powers of the Heavens will be shaken and then they will see the Son of Man coming with great power and great glory.”- Luke 21: 27
