King Jesus Christ Fulfills the Covenant of GOD Almighty with David

“Once for all I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David. His offspring shall endure forever, his throne as long as the sun before me. Like the moon it shall be established forever, a faithful witness in the skies.” Selah

We know that the steadfast love of GOD Almighty for David was seen when David was able to have respite and was able to celebrate with the people of Israel the glorification of GOD Almighty for defeating the hostile nations around Israel. We learn that GOD Almighty had promised to Abraham that the land of Canaan would be for their descendants, but they needed to be faithful to GOD Almighty. When the people are faithful to GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty destroys the surrounding nations and allows the people of Israel to obtain the land. When they stray into idolatry, they begin to experience difficulties.

We learn that the same belief goes with the kings of Judah who are given favor by GOD Almighty for David's faithfulness to GOD Almighty. David does not go after idols or becomes wicked. We learn that David is a faithful servant who even through affliction is able to glorify GOD Almighty because David know that GOD Almighty is in absolute authority over everything that is happening. David learns from the prophet Nathan that he would be able to have descendants that would be favored by GOD Almighty and that the throne of Judah would always have a king if they were faithful to GOD Almighty.

This symbolizes GOD Almighty's protection. We see that when the kings of Judah are righteous, serve GOD Almighty, and lead the people to the worship of GOD Almighty, the southern kingdom is strengthened, reinforced, and protected. This only happens through the strength, reinforcement, and protection of GOD Almighty. We see in contrast that the northern ten tribes of Israel would have extensive difficulties because of idolatry and wickedness.

We learn that the righteous kings of Judah are able to keep their kingship as long as they are righteous and worship GOD Almighty. We learn about the future kings of Judah that are able to withstand difficulties in faith similar to David. We learn that this is the favor of GOD Almighty despite the circumstances. We are reminded through the covenant of GOD Almighty with David, similar to the covenant of GOD Almighty with Abraham that GOD Almighty was going to provide for the people of Israel as long as they were faithful to GOD Almighty.

As Christian believers, we are able to see that GOD Almighty is faithful to His word to Abraham and David. GOD Almighty is able to provide protection, faithfulness, steadfast love, grace, strength, might, wisdom, understanding, authority, dominion, and power when we are righteous and obeying GOD Almighty. We are able to see GOD Almighty work wonders against our adversaries, bless us with peace, and keep us safe. We also have the promises of eternal life and glory through King Jesus Christ. We learn that when the kings of Judah became wicked and were not faithful, there are exiles and they no longer are kings. We learn that to this, GOD Almighty sends King Jesus Christ to fulfill the covenant to David stating that they would forever have a king on the throne of Judah. This king is the King of kings, King Jesus Christ who sits at the Right Hand Side of GOD Almighty until GOD Almighty decides to allow King Jesus Christ to return and judge the wicked and destroy His adversaries and reign from the New Earth and New Heaven.
