In this episode of Resurrection Radio Podcast, we learn about how the Ark of the Covenant is taken by the Philistines. We learn that the people of Israel were engaging in idolatry and caused the judgment of GOD Almighty to fall upon Israel preventing them from defeating the Philistines in some battles. We learn that GOD Almighty uses the Ark of the Covenant to issue judgment to the Philistines.
We learn that the Ark of the Covenant is able to be feared by the Philistines when they plot to return the Ark of the Covenant back to the people of Israel for the affliction that they were going through. The Philistines remember the signs and wonders against Egypt, and offer GOD Almighty a guilt offering and send the Ark of the Covenant back to the people of Israel to prevent GOD Almighty from afflicting them. This shows GOD Almighty has control over history and even the enemies of GOD Almighty worship and speak to the power of GOD Almighty.
We are able to learn that Samuel speaks to the people of Israel telling them to atone for their sin of idolatry if they want to see their enemies defeated by GOD Almighty. We learn that the people no longer conduct idol worship and believe in GOD Almighty. When this happens, GOD Almighty decides to defeat the Philistines, take back the land of Canaan that was of Israel and give it to Israel, and allows for Israel to have peace.
