In the following episode we learn about the creation of the new heaven and the new earth. We learn about the descriptions given by Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Joel concerning the creation of the new earth and the new heaven and also the signs given prior to the new creation. We also read about the descriptions in the apostle’s perspective through Paul and Peter and Revelation.
We are encouraged to remain faithful and reminded of the promises of GOD. We are believers who have the Scriptures and are able to find understanding through the writings of the prophets and apostles.
We are reminded that GOD is going to allow Jesus Christ to return from the clouds and start the new creation after sin is destroyed and judgment occurs. In the meantime, we can understand that we are to preach and keep our faith.

Episode: “New Earth and New Heavens”
Introduction
Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. I am your presenter for Resurrection Radio Podcast. The topic of this episode is the New Heaven and the New Earth. This topic is concerning the topics of Revelation and the signs of the closing of the Church age that are given in the Gospel and in the Old Testament. The Day of the LORD is stated by several of the prophets as a day that GOD Almighty decides to judge. We know that this earth is not eternal, and it is not meant to last forever. We try to do our best while we have time here on earth. So what we do is try to preach, try to help one another, do all the things that GOD wanted us to do. Right? To follow the Ten Commandments and to have faith in GOD.
We try to do this because we know that this earth is not eternal. We already know that it is going through a lot as far as earthquakes and natural disasters. The point is not to focus on the negative but to focus on the positive which is if the old earth and the old heavens are destroyed, that means there will be a new heavens and a new earth. That is the message that GOD gives us concerning the closing of the Church age, that there will be a new earth and a new heaven. We learn this from Isaiah 65: 17
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy, and her people to be a gladness. I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress. No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.” - Isaiah 65: 17-22
Description of the Life in the New Earth and New Heavens
This is telling us through the prophet Isaiah that there will be a time when things will be perfect. There will be a time when things will not appear to be perfect, but will be perfect. And that is actually what we look for. We look for the truth. We look for what is right. We look for the promises of GOD Almighty being fulfilled. So if GOD is telling us this in Isaiah, and this is already in the latter end of the book of Isaiah. Isaiah, of course, we know was sent to prophesy to the people of Israel to repent of their sins. But he also gives us hope about the new earth and the new heavens.
For GOD Almighty, the time constraints do not affect GOD. GOD Almighty decides the times. We know that this new heaven and new earth will be created. He is saying that is what He is going to create. And the former things which are again, sin, and all the evil emotions that are associated with it won't be remembered anymore. They won't even come to mind. And when we hear all this, we think “How is it possible?” It is GOD Almighty who will allow us not to remember and in our minds will forget about the past. Our attention will be on the word of GOD Almighty and those things that are good. The positive emotions and everything that is good. He says, “Rejoice and be glad forever in all that I create.” So GOD is a GOD of Creation. He is a Creator. We see that in Genesis. When He creates the earth and the heavens, and animals, and humanity. He is able to create. He is a GOD of creation.
Although He also destroys when there is too much sin in the world, He can also create, renovate, and breath in new life. He is saying that He is going to create a new earth and a new heaven. This is not the only passage that states this. There are other passages that state that. And again repetition from GOD Almighty means that it is important. This is seen in the exile where GOD Almighty tells Jeremiah to tell the people to repent. We know that this is important. It is a promise that He makes. Just like when He promised other things within the Scriptures. We know that those things are fulfilled. We know that we are waiting upon GOD Almighty to send King Jesus Christ in order to judge wickedness and then to create the new heavens and the new earth. So this would be, of course, after the time line of Revelation.
No Sin and a New Perfect Life
This would be when King Jesus Christ returns and creates everything that is new. For now we are to wait patiently on the LORD. Wait on His promises and the fulfillment of those promises because He has already told us what He is going to do. And He states in those days, “No more will there be an infant in it that leaves but a few days.” That is one of the harshest things that we see in humanity. When children are born with diseases and are not able to make it to adolescence or other years of their lives or old age. Even GOD know about this. That it is difficult. He knows about everything. He wants us to know that even though it is heart breaking when that happens, there is a purpose for everything that GOD Almighty does or that He allows. And when He creates, no longer will that be the case in those days. No longer will an old man not fill out his days. But he will be able to live for a hundred years. Both the infant and the old man.
This is telling us about promises of perfection. Where people will be able to live quite possibly a better life. That is not constrained by disease, that is not constrained by sin, that is not constrained by violence, that is not constrained by jealousy, that is not constrained by envy, that is not constrained by hatefulness, that is not constrained by destruction. What will we see? We will see peace, love, affection, fraternity, understanding, wisdom, knowledge, compassion, all those positive things that any human being definitely wants. Every individual wants the good things of life. The good things of life, peace, joy, happiness. And so He says, “They shall build houses and inhabit them, they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.” He is saying there are going to be resources. There is going to be enough for everyone to live peacefully. It shall no longer be the case that there shall be wickedness. Or treachery where someone builds and another inhabits. Or someone plants and another eats.
That will not be the case. People will be able to live long. And it states, “And my chosen will enjoy the works of their hands.” They will be able to enjoy what they produce. What they do. Everything that they are living. “They shall not labor in vain or bear children for calamity.” Children not filling out the years or people feeling that what they do is in vain. That will not be the case. They will know that they are doing things with a purpose. “For they shall be offspring of the blessed of the LORD and their descendants with them.” “Before they call, I will answer. While they are still speaking, I will hear.
“The wolf and the lamb shall grace together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all of my holy mountain' says the LORD.” - Isaiah 65
And so this is telling us that these impossibilities in this age do not sound really realistic. But GOD Almighty is promising these things. Just like things did not seem realistic to Abraham. That he was going to be able to father a child. He fathers two children. The descendants are given land. The most plentiful land of the region. They are able to make it through, and they are protected by GOD Almighty. Their descendants increase. The number of the descendants of Abraham increase.
So those are the promises of GOD Almighty. When we read that in the worldly context, we would say, “What?” When is this going to happen. You would have doubts. When we read this, we question “How could this be?” How can this happen. But if GOD Almighty promises it, it is possible that GOD Almighty will fulfill. And GOD Almighty will fulfill it. GOD Almighty is telling us again, this is going to be the new heaven and the new earth. It says, “The wolf and the lamb will grace together.” Of course, that in actuality cannot happen right now due to the consequences of sin. But in the new earth and in the new heavens, they will be able to lay down together and they won't fight against each other. They will not harm each other. “And the lion shall eat straw like an ox.” Who would believe such a thing? But it is going to happen. Because GOD Almighty has decided it. And it states, “They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, says the LORD.” So we see the consequences of sin are jealousy and envy, and all those things that we see now. But once the new heaven and the new earth is created, sin will be destroyed, and so will the consequences of sin.

The purpose of this blog is the glorification of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
