No Idolatry
Positive Christianity Series Episode #218
"Thou shall have no other gods before me."- Exodus 20: 3
GOD Almighty instructs us to be far apart from idol worship and self-worship that is idolatry. We can not worship GOD Almighty and idols. We decide to worship the GOD of gods, GOD Almighty, and deny idol worship and self-worship because GOD Almighty merits the worship. We are supposed to worship GOD Almighty above everything and never practice idolatry. Idolatry wants to lead to grave sin although it does not say so from the beginning. Idolatry wants to lead to adultery, envy, hate, bitterness, speaking temporary lies and deceit, and coveting. We learn that in the idol temples in the times of Paul (the ministry of Paul was somewhere between 33 A.D. or 34 A.D.-67 A.D.) in Rome, Greece, and Asia Minor there was adultery practiced along with eating food offered to idols. We learn that Paul instructed the need to forsake idol worship, not practice pagan false beliefs, adultery, and eating food offered to idols. The intention of idolatry is to lead to adultery and sin. We learn that we can not partake in the worship of GOD Almighty and practice idol worship. We choose to deny everything that is of idolatry and sin (1 Corinthians 10: 20-22).
"Now concerning food offered to idols: we know that all of us possess knowledge. This 'knowledge' puffs up, but love builds up. If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know. But if anyone loves GOD, he is known by GOD."- 1 Corinthians 8: 1-3
While we learn about the wisdom of GOD Almighty, we are supposed to have genuine empathy worshiping GOD Almighty. The practice of genuine empathy is filial love. We know that love builds up. We learn that knowledge is important yet the worship of GOD Almighty helps us develop wisdom and fidelity to GOD Almighty that is much greater than knowledge. Knowledge can "puff up" and lead to arrogance, yet wisdom prevents arrogance because we know that GOD Almighty is the source of infinite and eternal wisdom. Knowledge is learning about information, yet wisdom is greater than knowledge because wisdom is the fear of the LORD, obedience to the commandments of Moses, and hating evil. Wisdom helps us practice discretion, justice, equity, equality, and have counsel, insight, reproof, and correction.
"Therefore, as to the food offered to idols, we know that 'an idol has no real existance', and that 'there is no GOD but one'. For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth-as indeed there are many 'gods' and many 'lords'- yet 'for us there is one GOD, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one LORD, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist."- 1 Corinthians 8: 4-6
Paul allows us to know that in the pagan temples where idolatry was practiced, there was food offered to idols and adultery was also practiced. This describes how the snake attempts to lead to sin and idolatry through adultery and idol worship. In the times of Moses, there was also temptation to practice idolatry with adultery and food offered to idols by the suggestion of Balaam. We learn that Balaam suggested idolatry and adultery to Balaak to tempt Israel. We learn that Balaam was destroyed for practicing idolatry and helping Balaak. We learn that those that practiced idolatry and adultery were destroyed by the plague. The story of Balaam describes how idol worship and adultery leads to the destruction of the wicked. We learn that while the snake tempts to the practice of sin and idol worship it does not say that the actual intention is to lead to destruction similar to how Balaam and Balaak were ensnared. This is because GOD Almighty judges wickedness and hostilities seen in Balaak and Balaam.
We can not partake with idol worship because it wants to lead to sin, adultery, vices, and destruction of the wicked. We can not partake with idol worship meaning we can not practice adultery nor eat food offered to idols. We learn that these were things that were done in pagan idol temples in the past and that Revelation speaks about idolators trying to lead to idolatry similar to Balaam in the end times (Revelation 2: 14). Paul allows us to undertand that the worship of GOD Almighty allows us to deny and be far apart from idolatry and adultery (2 Corinthians 6: 14). We learn that the light can not partake with the darkness, righteousness with lawlessness, and belief with unbelief. We learn that we can not be unequally yoked with unbelievers because they only want to lead to sin, idol worship, adultery, envy, hate, bitterness, coveting, greed, avarice, slothfulness, division, quarreling, deceit, arrogance, intemperance, and do not want to be reproved. We can avoid such people and persevere with zealous faith far apart from unbelievers who are false prophets, adulterers, adultresses, and idolators.

If Spotify links do not work, the GreatnessWithinUs.Life site has older articles with audio. Not sure if Spotify links do not work based on envy or human error. Most likely envy due to the times prior to the great tribulation and speaking truth, filial love, logic, and repentance of sin. I am going to keep preaching and having gratitude for not practicing idol worship, not being covid "vaccinated" (not even once), and not having to tell temporary lies. I am able to persevere with gratitude and true joy amidst living in not the best of times. Hallelu JAH!

I keep persevering and having gratitude amidst the times that we are living in that are not the best of times. While the false prophets have attempted to prevent the Spotify audio links from working among so many other attempts to discourage including freezing or preventing my debit card from working since about the time the covid “vaccines” started being implemented, preventing me from cashing in cashier checks at the local store, being unable to withdraw funds from 401k (no answer from phone line workers), false prophets making random noises during the day including yelling non-sense, getting on the apartment roof to scratch the roof, and knock at random intervals, preventing the ability to work, preventing the ability to return back to school to get a Master's degree and keep on receiving an education, preventing access to Wordpress, creating app pop-up messages to prevent me from writing, closing apps multiple times, cyber attacking a laptop and preventing me from logging in, changing the voltage of the electricity to cause a desktop computer to malfunction, and overall attempting to intimidate, cause envy, and anger, I am able to persevere knowing that we await the return of King Jesus Christ. Even amidst all this, I am going to keep preaching knowing that there is encouragement amidst the times that we live in.These are definitely not the best of times knowing that there is envy and cowardice from the false prophets who definitely do not like individuals to prosper and improve in the worship of GOD Almighty consistent with Scripture. Even amidst the attempts to discourage, I have gratitude that I am not covid “vaccinated” (not even once), am able to exercise everyday minimum thirty minutes a day trusting in my immune system that GOD Almighty created and in GOD Almighty, and can keep preaching and writing amidst the not so good times that we live in. I have gratitude to GOD Almighty for allowing me to persevere even amidst attempts by envy to discourage and demotivate knowing that I do not place my worth in temporary material resources and false “relationships”.Instead I choose to worship King Jesus Christ, the Eternal King of Kings. I am going to keep preaching and keep writing for the worship of GOD Almighty knowing that there are books being written in heaven concerning the good and bad that each individual has done. We must persevere obeying the commandments and trusting in GOD Almighty.
"If GOD is for us who can be against us."
"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD in Christ Jesus our LORD."- Romans 8: 38-39
“We know that for those that love GOD Almighty all things work together for good for those that are called according to His purpose.”- Romans 8: 28
“The Scriptures (Bible) is not a single book and instead is a library of 66 books (67 if we include the book of Enoch) that includes wisdom, counsel, correction, and reproof.”
“Many books can inform you, but only one book can transform you.”
"The Scriptures (Bible) is the only book whose Author is always present when one reads it."

“For the powers of the Heavens will be shaken and then they will see the Son of Man coming with great power and great glory.”- Luke 21: 27

The purpose of this blog is the glorification of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We are reminded in theBook of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
