The Letter of Jude

We learn from the letter of Jude that there are specific facts that exist in the world. We learn that there is only the reality that GOD Almighty has created based on righteousness, faith, and truth. We learn that GOD Almighty judges the wicked and does not allow them to continue living lifestyles of sin and wickedness. We learn from the letter, that Jude is a brother of James and also brother to King Jesus Christ. We learn that he provides specific details that are not known in other letters or books of Scripture. A specific detail is the manner in which GOD Almighty judges the wicked and spares the righteous spoken by Enoch.

The Book of Enoch is not included in the Scriptures, but is considered by scholars to be important because it follows the belief in GOD Almighty and talks about prophecies that have already happened including the birth of Noah, the righteous remnant in Noah and Noah's family, and the manner that the commandments were going to be instructed. We also know about events described in Revelation when King Jesus Christ returns to judge the wicked. We learn that while there are questions as to why the Book of Enoch is not in the Scriptures, we are to apply logical sense, common sense, and allow the Spirit of Truth to guide us. We learn that the letter of Jude includes details from the Book of Enoch and the information that Jude writes, Peter also writes about. Peter, we know, is a faithful and zealous disciple that is worthy and preaches to Israel in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.

We learn that the Book of Enoch talks about the judgment of King Jesus Christ at the end of the ages although the name King Jesus Christ is not used. Like Old Testament prophecies from the Book of the Prophets, we learn that King Jesus Christ was represented as a shepherd, David, and the Son of Man, a title given to angels and prophets and specifically used for King Jesus Christ in Revelation. Taking all of this into account, we learn that the Book of Enoch is another source that allows us to understand that the Day of Judgment is a fixed event that GOD Almighty has already established.

It was about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, 'Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.' These are grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters, showing favoritism to gain advantage.”- Jude 1: 14-16

This allows believers to understand that the Book of Enoch has information that may actually be congruent with Scripture. We learn that Revelation is congruent with the prophecy of Peter and Paul concerning the end times. We also learn that the prophets of Judah and Israel also prophesied about the Day of Judgment. King Jesus Christ also prophecies about the time of the end in the Gospel that His disciples write. We are reminded that King Jesus Christ will destroy His enemies. The enemies of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, the Spirit of Truth, and Christian believers are the wicked, ungodly sinners. Because they decided to not only forsake GOD Almighty, but also persecute the righteous, GOD Almighty will issue His Day of Judgment against the wicked.

We are reminded from the Scriptures of Jude that these individuals are described as unfaithful, without peace, sinful, narcissists, and unjust. This seems similar to the writings of 2 Timothy 3 in Paul's writings. The Spirit of Truth allows the disciples, apostles, prophets, and believers to be able to understand this in the Spirit of Truth. We see the same descriptions although there are different authors; however, they are inspired by the Spirit of Truth. Like Peter, Paul, and John, Jude tells us that GOD Almighty is in His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens from before the beginning of Creation, in the present, in the future, and for all eternity, and King Jesus Christ has absolute authority over the events that are happening.
