GOD's Promises to Israel and Psalm 105”

Introduction

Good afternoon! This is Eduardo your presenter. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. Today's topic is going to be about the Promises of GOD to Israel. Stating the history of the Israeli people, describing all the greatness that GOD has done for them including being able to take them away from Egypt which was the place where they were in slavery. They were given another opportunity to serve GOD in a different manner in a way that would allow for the wholeheartedly obedience of GOD. We see this through Moses whom GOD chooses as a leader in order to bring this about.

Psalm 105 Reminds Us of GOD Almighty's Faithfulness

We see in Psalm 105, the promises of GOD. The promises He gave to Abraham and the promises that where fulfilled for the people of Israel. We are able to see, for example, in verse 7, where Scripture states:

“He is the LORD our GOD; his judgments are in all the earth. He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac, which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant saying, 'To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.' ”- Psalm 105: 7

We learn that the promises of GOD Almighty were fulfilled. Because they were able to take that land. That land was inhabited by other nations by the Amorites, the Perrezites, the Hivites, it was about seven to eight nations that lived there and because of the iniquity of those nations, GOD chose Israel to take those nations' land. That land was pretty much given by GOD. That is why there is so much contention for the land because it is the land that is GOD given. We know that anything that GOD wants for the good people, for His people, there is going to be some sort of opposition. We see Moses take the Israeli people out of Egypt and it was not easily.

There was opposition by Pharaoh in Egypt who did not want to allow them to leave because Pharaoh saw them as free labor. What we see is that these people were freed by Moses and by GOD and they were able to inherit the land that was promised to them from the promise of GOD to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This allows us to see that GOD's promises are true. The promises that GOD makes are true. We see this when they not only inherit the land, but when they are able to stay in the land, and keep it. So then again there is opposition, due to the idolatry of the people when they begin to mix with the nations and they start to do as the nations are doing in worshiping other beliefs. That is what GOD wants us to know that idolatry is never good and it is not something that is a small sin. It is a big sin. That is why the First Commandment is so important, it is instruction for believers to stay protected in GOD and for us to be protected from the temptations of the world.

Jesus Christ a Part of the Promises

When GOD Almighty is the most important being in our lives, we know that there is nothing else that can change our belief. In current days as believers, we may be going through a lot but the important thing is that we are protected in GOD, in Jesus Christ. We see Jesus Christ being a part of the promises that GOD gave to the Israeli people that He would bring a savior out of the root of David. We see that Jesus Christ is part of that fulfillment, we see in the Old Testament where prophets stated that Jesus Christ was going to arrive, and He was going to lead Israel into peace. This peace is not the peace that we imagine from an earthly perspective. He is going to arrive and everything is going to be great. There was the belief that there would be no more violence, no more slander, no more temptation, no more sin during the first arrival of Jesus Christ, but that is not the purpose of GOD. We learn that Jesus Christ teaches us the need to repent of sin, confess King Jesus Christ LORD and Savior, and obey the commandments of Moses. We learn that this allows us to know that there is eternal salvation.

It was a gradual progression. So Jesus Christ arrives to teach us like the prophets did. To teach us that we need to focus on GOD Almighty, we need to pay attention to the Ten Commandments, that we need to have faith in GOD Almighty, and that we need to remove anything that is trying to lead us away from GOD Almighty. Remove the idolatry, stealing, lying, killing, doing the things that are not of GOD Almighty. We are able to see what happens to Jesus that Jesus is falsely condemned, falsely accused, and crucified. But again what the world meant for evil, GOD turns into good. We see that on the cross Jesus Christ kills sin and defeats His enemies including evil and death. We see that King Jesus Christ rises up from the dead in three days because GOD Almighty is able to raise up King Jesus Christ. We learn that King Jesus Christ ascends to the Highest Heavens and is at the Right Hand Side of the Father. We learn that King Jesus Christ is returning to judge and remove sin, the workers of evil, evil, and death for all eternity and start Shabbath Millennium where we will live for a Thousand Years on New Earth and then live for all eternity in the New Jerusalem. We learn the times of Shabbath Millennium and New Jerusalem is when there is no more violence, no more slander, no more temptation, and no more sin.

The purpose of this blog is the glorification of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
