Introduction

Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. We spoke of the Book of 2 Chronicles which spoke of King Asa's kingdom. The kingdom of the south of Judah and the individuals of Israel were beginning to see the renovation, renewal, and restoration when they were believing in GOD Almighty. We see that this happens after Rehoboam believes and has faith in GOD Almighty that they are able to persevere. They believe in GOD Almighty and GOD Almighty provides for them and protects them even through the difficulties in the kingdom of Judah.

Righteous Examples to Remind Ourselves of Faith

They are able to make it out because they believe in GOD Almighty. King Abijam believes in GOD Almighty, and they are able to persevere and prosper. For King Abijam who is the father of King Asa, we learn that King Asa learns to be righteous through the example of King Abijam. The people of Judah are able to fortify their cities, everything prospers, and they are able to increase because they are worshiping GOD Almighty. We learn that the land is theirs because they sought GOD Almighty.

They have faith in GOD Almighty and also because they were with GOD Almighty. They believe in GOD Almighty so they are able to have all the good things that GOD Almighty decides to give. They are able to persist. We learn that when their adversaries went after them to attack, GOD Almighty was able to fight on their behalf and their adversaries were defeated. That is what we learn about the specific detail when Judah is being described as a kingdom that has might, but there are other nations that have greater numbers. GOD Almighty is able to resolve because they only worship GOD Almighty and have faith in GOD Almighty and not in might, wisdom, or other things. Because they have faith in GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is able to provide.

GOD Almighty provides for the kingdom of Judah and their adversaries are defeated. There is peace, restoration, renovation, and renewal in the kingdom of Judah. Then we read about the reforms that King Asa does for the kingdom of Judah. We learn that every so often there were cycles of disbelief where they began to follow idol worship. When they began to follow idol worship, they began to have difficulties. When they have firm faith in GOD Almighty, they do not go through those difficulties. GOD Almighty is able to provide and to protect.

When we read, it says that they were able to continue:

“And the spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded; and he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him: ‘Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: the LORD is with you, while ye are with Him”

The Promises of GOD Almighty to be Protector, Provider, and Fortifier

 

 

There is a prophet of GOD Almighty that tells King Asa that as long as they believe in GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is going to be with them. There is that need for King Asa to persist worshiping GOD Almighty because as long as they were seeking and obeying the commandments, statutes, and Sabbaths of GOD Almighty, they are going to have everything that they need. They were going to be able to persevere. There may have been circumstances and there may have been difficulties, but GOD Almighty was going to resolve everything. GOD Almighty was going to be with them. There is that reminder that if we have GOD Almighty, we have everything. We have King Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Truth, we have everything. If we have GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth, we have everything.

“And if ye seek Him, He will be found of you; but if ye forsake Him, He will forsake you.”

If we believe in GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is able to provide. We read in the words of Solomon that if we seek GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is able to provide. If we forsake GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty forsakes those individuals.

The Importance of the Spirit of Truth

 

This is because GOD Almighty loves us first. GOD Almighty loves us so much that we can accept the grace and love. Add infinite grace and add infinite love. Add King Jesus Christ who is infinite, eternal, indestructible, Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent with GOD Almighty and the Spirit of Truth. We see that Scriptures say that if we seek GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty will provide and protect us. If individuals forsake GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty will forsake those individuals. If we obey the specific statutes of GOD Almighty, if we obey the commandments, if we keep the Sabbaths, GOD Almighty is with us. GOD Almighty protects. We have the Spirit of Truth. This is in the Old Testament in the Book of the Prophets. We know in the New Testament, King Jesus Christ talks about disciples and apostles having the Spirit of Truth.

We learn in the Book of the Prophets and Chronicles in books that the Spirit of GOD Almighty was able to be on specific prophets and kings who obeyed the word of GOD Almighty. That is speaking about the Spirit of Truth. They speak truth. This is truth. If individuals obey the commandments, GOD Almighty was going to protect them. If individuals follow the statutes, GOD Almighty is going to protect them. If individuals keep the Sabbaths, GOD Almighty is going to give them peace. All of this is known through the Spirit of Truth.

So it is the same Spirit of Truth that King Jesus Christ sends to individuals so that they can speak the truth, and we can speak the word of GOD Almighty. We can persevere advancing in the word of GOD Almighty and persist increasing. The importance of knowing all this is to fulfill the purpose of GOD Almighty so that our intentions, actions, and words are all good. So then we learn that as long as they were believing and having confidence in GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty was going to be with them. When they decided to forsake GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty was going to forsake them.

Like Rehoboam, the nation of Israel decides to forsake GOD Almighty, then they have difficulties. If they are able to humble themselves to GOD Almighty and plead to GOD Almighty, they are able to have restoration and favor that GOD Almighty decides. GOD Almighty will be with them if they believe in GOD Almighty, but if they forsake GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty will forsake them.

GOD Almighty's Reminder of GOD Almighty's Truth

“Now for long seasons Israel was without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their distress they turned unto the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found of them. And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great discomfitures were upon all the inhabitants of the lands. And they were broken in pieces, nation against nation, and city against city; for God did discomfit them with all manner of adversity. But be ye strong, and let not your hands be slack; for your work shall be rewarded.’”- 2 Chronicles 15: 1-7

What can we learn from this? This is a short description of the history of Israel from the time of the Judges after Joshua when there is zeal for the people of Israel in the time of Moses and Joshua. We know that once they obtain the Promised Land, they do not believe in GOD Almighty because they have convenience and do not have difficulties. Those two specific times that cause people to stray from the faith is when there are times of difficulties. When people do not want to know anything about the times of difficulties. They do not want to continue the faith because they think that it is the faith that causes difficulties when it is actually GOD Almighty resolving the difficulties. Regardless of the circumstances, GOD Almighty can resolve.

The other reason why people abandon the faith in GOD Almighty is because they have prosperity and think that the prosperity is what is allowing them to persist. GOD Almighty provides for the prosperity and even allowing through the times of difficulties to persist forward. Those two misunderstandings of understanding those times that individuals have difficulties with the faith when individuals have difficulties or when there is prosperity.

That is what happens to Israel, they are afflicted because they have the Promised Land. They have the Promised Land through Joshua, and they have difficulties and afflictions because they forsake GOD Almighty and begin to worship idols. They begin to build those high places where they begin to provide for idol worship. They do not worship GOD Almighty, and they do not obey the word of GOD Almighty. This is similar to Rehoboam. Then there are difficulties. There are difficulties with the nations. Mesopotamia is able to affect them. They have difficulties, and they remember GOD Almighty. They remember that GOD Almighty is who is providing for the prosperity.

GOD Almighty provides for the peace and the wisdom. GOD Almighty reminds them that there is peace in the land, they defeated their enemies, and they have to be reminded of that understanding. As Christians, we have to remind ourselves that we have to constantly renew, renovate, and regenerate our understanding of our belief. Our belief can not stagnate. It can not remain the same. We have to constantly renovate, restore, and regenerate our belief by constantly reading Scripture, praying, fasting, and it depends on each individual. What we have to do is glorify GOD Almighty above everything.

There is the reminder of being of a humble meek spirit to glorify GOD Almighty. This is to provide the worship of GOD Almighty. We have to remind ourselves that the worship of GOD Almighty is priority over everything. We have to remind ourselves of this. That we have to glorify GOD Almighty over everything in this life. GOD Almighty reminds the people of Israel in the time of the Judges that there are difficulties with the nations because they thought like Rehoboam that they could do things by themselves. They thought that either their might, wisdom, or the Promised Land was providing abundance, but then realizing that GOD Almighty is providing for the wisdom, GOD Almighty is providing for the might, and GOD Almighty is providing for the abundance. When they return to GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty is able to raise up Judges to protect them from the nations that are afflicting them.

They are able to abound and have everything again. GOD Almighty gives so much in good. GOD Almighty does not want to cause difficulties. It is each individual's decision to choose if they want to obey GOD Almighty or not obey GOD Almighty. If they want to seek GOD Almighty or not seek GOD Almighty. Believe in GOD Almighty, have faith in GOD Almighty, and trust in GOD Almighty, or not believe in GOD Almighty, not have faith in GOD Almighty, and not trust GOD Almighty. There are those two different paths. The paths of the righteous and the path of the wicked.

The Reforms of King Asa

 

We learn that in those times there was going to be difficulties and that they had difficulties with the nations and were delivered from the Judges. We learn that from the time of Samuel forward, there is a time of unity and understanding because Samuel is a great prophet raised by GOD Almighty to lead the people back to GOD Almighty and remove idol worship. They were not going to have difficulties with the nations. That is what happens. We learn that there is difficulties with the cities and nations, but for King Asa there was the need to take courage. For King Asa, it was different because he had that belief in GOD Almighty. From the very beginning, he began to worship GOD Almighty. There is that understanding that there were reforms and there was no idol worship in the land.

We know they were glorifying GOD Almighty, and praising GOD Almighty based on those good examples. We read that Scriptures state:

“But be ye strong, and let not your hands be slack; for your work shall be rewarded.’”- 2 Chronicles 15: 1-7

Scriptures tell us to not fear. This is another manner to state the need to be courageous. This is the same language spoken in the Book of Joshua. So this is reminding us of the time of faith like in the time of Moses, like in the time of Joshua with GOD Almighty saying be courageous and keep working for the things of GOD Almighty. Keep believing in the word of GOD Almighty because there are rewards from those promises. So like the Promised Land has already been fulfilled. It is not only taking the Promised Land, but also keeping the Promised Land. Reminding themselves of that. They have to remind themselves that GOD Almighty is providing for this. They have to remind themselves that the abundance is from GOD Almighty. They have to trust in GOD Almighty, and they are rewarded. They keep the Promised Land, they keep the temple, and they keep the peace. This is only in the belief of GOD Almighty. There is a prophet that tells the kingdom of Judah all this because they are worshiping GOD Almighty.

We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
