Improving in the Worship of GOD Almighty, Removing Negative Emotions, and Doubting the Discouragements

Positive Christianity Series Episode #60

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”- Psalm 23: 1-3

There are false philosophies of sin that want individuals to not obey GOD Almighty. We are not supposed to practice those things that are trying to cause individuals to not worship GOD Almighty if we are Christians. That is trying to cause discouragement, resentments, and for individuals to look at the past. We are not supposed to pay attention to the things that want us to have resentments. We can let go of those negative emotions that are not helpful. We do not pay attention to that. The things that want to cause negative emotions, we do not have to pay attention to that and instead we are supposed to have gratitude and gladness of heart knowing that we have favor, blessings, and goodness in the worship of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We are supposed to have an objective positive perspective because we know that there is a future for good Jeremiah 29: 11. We have to understand this. Jeremiah states about the manner to persevere even when there are difficulties. We read about being able to persevere amidst times, obstacles, and opposition. There is the manner to persevere while having encouragement. Why is having positivity and objectivity important?

“All the paths of the LORD are steadfast filial love and fidelity, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.”- Psalm 25: 9-10

We know that there are false philosophies of hate and lust that are trying to ridicule and make fun of the need to have positivity and objectivity. Evil does not want individuals to feel encouraged because this allows us to persevere with gladness of heart and true joy. This prevents us from believing the discouragements that want us to have bitterness, jadedness, anger, resentments, and hate for no reason. There are false philosophies of hate and lust that attempt to ridicule optimism and objectivity. This is not with the intention to help, but with the intention to cause negative emotions, hate, envy, and coveting. This speaks about the importance of having gratitude to GOD Almighty for being able to persevere. We are able to know that false philosophies of hate and lust do not want individuals to feel motivated and positive because then idolatry, negative emotions, and having vices does not sound like a viable choice.

The Importance of Optimism

“Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed. For you will put them to flight; you will aim at their faces with your bows.”-Psalm 21: 11-12 David Describes GOD Almighty Judging the Wicked

We learn that GOD Almighty tells us of the need to be optimistic so that we do not allow the discouragements, temporary lies, and negative emotions to lead to the practice of sin and idolatry. We learn that positivism is able to remove any discouragements that may attempt to be fomented. We know that we do not need to be discouraged. We know that nihilism and atheism along with socialism and communism want individuals to feel discouraged so that they have hate towards other people instead of hating evil. We are supposed to hate evil and not the sinner. We can hate sin and not the sinner. Yet, we are supposed to guard ourselves from false prophets that want to lead to the practice of sin, hate, lust, and vices. We know that this is the intention of false philosophies of hate and lust to lead to the practice of hate and lust based on discouragements. We are supposed to have faith, zeal, and encouragement instead. We are not supposed to doubt GOD Almighty. We can doubt the practice of idolatry, sin, negative emotion describing hate, anger, bitterness, resentment, envy, and coveting, sexual immorality describing fornication, adultery, and homosexuality, temporary lies, and vices.

If GOD Almighty tells us that we need to have encouragement and motivation, then we need to have encouragement and motivation each day. This speaks about the manner that we can not doubt the Creator of the universe and instead we can doubt the discouragements and envy. This speaks about going to Scripture each day to study encouraging Scripture verses that allow us to have gladness of heart and motivation instead of discouragement, bitterness, resentment, and envy that idolatry wants individuals to have. This is going to protect our heart from the negative emotions and discouragement. When I was beginning to be a Christian, I did not realize the importance of guarding the heart from negative emotions. I questioned, ‘How important can the emotions be?’ We learn that we need to have positive emotions instead of negative emotions because evil wants to use the negative emotions to lead to bitterness, anger, and hate so that individuals think that practicing envy, lust, and coveting are an option. We know that the practice of sin is not an option because it leads to difficulties, vices, stagnation, and destruction of the unrepentant wicked. I did not have that understanding of how the emotions really help us when we have positive emotions instead of negative emotions.

The Importance of Gratitude and Getting Rid of Negative Emotions

Once we begin to mature in our Christianity, we are able to realize that we need to have positive emotions and gratitude to GOD Almighty. We learn that Moses, David, King Jesus Christ, and Paul speak about the importance of keeping positive emotions and getting rid of negative emotions. This speaks about the manner that we need to guard the heart from negative emotions. We learn that the Spirit of Truth helps us understand about the importance of having gratitude to GOD Almighty instead of having ungratefulness and envy that evil wants to cause. We know that Cain had envy and ungratefulness to GOD Almighty and did not listen to the advice of GOD Almighty to practice righteousness and goodness. We are able to understand the importance of guarding our emotions with positive emotions.

We know that the Spirit of Truth is able to help us have boldness and gladness of heart so that there are no negative emotions. If we have gratitude to GOD Almighty for the favor, blessings, goodness, and virtues that we have, we are not going to have negative emotions, resentments, and bitterness. We are going to have gladness, true joy, and happiness knowing that we do not need to have resentments or envy because we have the things that we need. If there are false philosophies of hate and lust, false prophets, and false and negative information that wants individuals to feel discouraged, then that is not from GOD Almighty. We know that GOD Almighty creates us to feel encouraged and motivated knowing that we have eternal significance and purpose in the worship of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We know that we are not supposed to feel discouraged based on temporary lies. Evil wants individuals to feel discouraged based on false “comparisons”, resentments of the past, and envy. This is so that individuals hate each other instead of hating evil. GOD Almighty tells us to hate evil. This describes why we can not compare ourselves with others based on false “comparisons”. We are able to have gratitude instead because we have eternal meaning and purpose in the worship of GOD Almighty. This is going to prevent us from feeling discouraged based on material objects that have planned obsolescence meaning that they only last for a specific amount of time and do not provide lasting true joy.
