The Importance of Persevering With Righteousness and Zeal

Good afternnon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. We spoke in the previous episodes about the importance of guarding the heart and the mind from sin, philosophies of sin, and idolatry that want individuals to practice iniquity. GOD Almighty allows us to know the manner to guard our heart and mind from the false philosophies of hate and lust so that we can keep to the path of eternal salvation practicing righteousness. This is because we choose to study Scripture and obey the commandments of Moses. We have positive emotions and the Spirit of Truth guards us from the false philosophies that want to make us doubt GOD Almighty, the Scriptures, obeying the commandments, and positive emotions. We know that the worship of GOD Almighty is able to guard us because we are able to keep to the path of righteousness. We learn that practicing righteousness allows our faith to increase to confidence and then to zeal. There are righteous individuals in Scripture that are zealous because they place all their trust in GOD Almighty. This speaks about Abraham and Sarah, Moses, and David.
“The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.”- Psalm 146: 8
We learn that there are righteous individuals in Scripture describing King Jesus Christ, Zechariah, Elizabeth, John the Baptist, Mary, Luke, John the Disciple, Cephas, and Paul who had confidence in GOD Almighty, and GOD Almighty sees that being righteousness. We learn that having zeal guards us from having lukewarm worship, doubts, and discouragements that evil attempts to cause. We are able to know that we do not need negative emotions that want to cause doubts about the faith. We learn that the intention is to cause resentments so that individuals doubt the Scriptures. There are attempts to cause individuals to not have optimism. We learn that the false philosophies of hate and lust want to cause individuals to not have a positive outlook, encouragement, and motivation in the Scriptures. GOD Almighty wants us to have positive emotions so that there are no negative emotions. We learn about this in the story of Cain. We are able to guard ourselves from the things that want to cause doubts for the sake of causing doubts. This speaks about not believing the discouragements from false philosophies that want to prevent individuals from having belief and faith.
The Importance of Guarding the Heart and Mind With Encouraging Scripture Verses
I spoke in the previous episode about the importance of guarding the heart and the mind with the understanding that we have to be in the path of eternal salvation practicing righteousness. We have to persevere in the path of eternal salvation. David tells us of the need to not go after the things that want individuals to go astray to the path of perdition. This is so that we are not in the path of iniquity. Righteous Christians can be guarded from that. We learn that the zeal of Moses is able to help him persevere even amidst attempts to cause discouragement. We learn that even when there are false beliefs, Moses honors the commandments and instructs the Scriptures. We learn that David and King Jesus Christ speak Scripture back to the circumstances, difficulties, and opposition. We need to remind ourselves of Scripture. Scripture can help us persevere by reminding us of the eternal truth and help us increase in zeal. The zeal in GOD Almighty has to keep increasing by going to Scripture, obeying the commandments and guarding ourselves from sin. We are able to guard ourselves from iniquity. That is going to guard us from sin, false philosophies of hate and lust, idolatry, temporary lies, sexual immorality describing fornication, adultery, and homosexuality, negative emotions, and vices.
“The LORD is righteous in all his paths and kind in all his works. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them. The LORD preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.”-Psalm 145: 17-21
We are able to guard our heart and mind from the attempts to cause discouragements by evil. We learn that there is the attempt to prevent individuals from knowing that GOD Almighty cares about righteousness and righteous individuals. We read about different times when righteous individuals are able to persevere. We learn that we are supposed to pray to have the help of the Spirit of Truth so that we are guided in the path of eternal salvation and not practice sin and idolatry. We learn about righteous examples that are able to persevere speaking truth from Scripture, and also being able to obey the commandments with their actions. We learn about Moses who is able to see the difficulties that were happening, and GOD Almighty helps Moses accomplish the purpose of GOD Almighty. We learn that GOD Almighty helps Moses deliver Israel from Egypt, persevere in the desert, and reach the land of Canaan that became the land of Israel. We learn that GOD Almighty spoke to Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Israel and his family about how they would obtain the land of Canaan. We read that is what happens in the times of Moses and Joshua. This describes the need to be encouraged with the Scriptures and being able to obey the commandments. The Spirit of Truth helps us be guarded from sin. We can live a Christian life and be guarded from sin. We are able to read Scripture so that we know the truth and also are able to live our lives practicing righteousness.
Guarding the Heart and the Mind from Discouragements, Self-Righteousness, and Lukewarm Belief
This understanding prevents us from practicing self-righteousness where individuals say that they obey the commandments, and do not practice. We are able to protect our heart and mind from false philosophies that want to discourage us. This is because when we are righteous, we begin to increase in virtues that help us perservere. We learn that when we keep persevering and growing in virtues because of righteousness, there may be attempts to cause discouragements from having faith by temptations or persecution. There is false and negative information that attempts to get individuals to doubt GOD Almighty and cause negative emotions. I have said in previous episodes that we can prevent negative emotions from developing when we decide to worship GOD Almighty above everything and be able to acknowledge the source of the negative emotions. Instead of believing the temporary lies and discouragements, we are able to shift our attention to having gratitude for the good things that we have in the worship of GOD Almighty. This speaks about praising GOD Almighty each and every day and having gratitude about the good things that we have. We are able to guard ourselves from the negative emotions that want to cause envy and coveting and then the practice of sin.
We are able to acknowledge the negative emotions, shift our attention to having gratitude, and knowing that we can keep an objective positive perspective. This is going to turn the frustration into a positive emotion and prevent negative emotions from developing into anger, hate, envy, and coveting. This speaks about the importance of the virtues of serenity, empathy, peace of mind, and humility so that we do not have anger, hate, envy, and arrogance. This speaks about why we can keep being positive and seeing the positive out of everything.
This prevents us from having resentments. This describes the manner that we can even have gratitude for the things that we do not have because we know that we did not need them. This prevents having resentment or coveting. We are able to persevere with an objective perspective, positive emotions, gratitude, and serenity. We are able to keep going and guard ourselves from the attempts to cause negative emotions, self-righteousness, hate, envy, and arrogance. This is to prevent the practice of sin and idolatry. This is because the practice of sin attempts to cause further doubts about the faith. We are able to know that we do not need to have doubts about our faith, and we do not need to practice sin. This wisdom and understanding is able to help us so that we do not practice sin. We are able to remind ourselves in Scripture about the manner that righteousness is able to guard us by increasing in virtues while decreasing and eliminating the practice of sin. This is going to help us persevere in the path of eternal salvation.

We are reminded in theBook of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
