Episode: Revelation Chapter 11
Introduction
Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. So we spoke about Chapter 10 in Revelation. GOD Almighty is able to help those that are His. We learn that John, the disciple, is able to understand and see things that would allow the churches to know about the prophesies of King Jesus Christ. We also know that he is made known information that he is not supposed to write. GOD Almighty allows us to understand that He is in control of all the events that happen in Revelation. GOD Almighty allows for specific events to occur, but GOD Almighty is deciding when those events occur and if those events occur.
Reminders of Revelation Chapter 9-10
Righteous are sealed and protected by GOD Almighty
GOD Almighty is in control of the events of Revelation
Angels are able to initiate events of judgment just like King Jesus Christ is able to initiate events based on the opening of the scrolls (although only King Jesus Christ was able to break the seals and open the scroll)
A third of humanity is destroyed
Wicked do not repent of idolatry and sin
We learn that when there are the specific creatures of torment that afflict wicked humanity, we learn that GOD Almighty does not allow them to harm the righteous who are sealed on their forehead with the name of GOD Almighty. While the creatures of torment are allowed to harm the wicked for five months, we learn that the righteous are protected by GOD Almighty. We know that the seal of GOD Almighty differentiates those that are of GOD Almighty from those that are not of GOD Almighty. We learn that a third of mankind is destroyed, but we know that GOD Almighty is in absolute sovereignty, dominion, authority, and control. We learn that the angels that were released to destroy wicked humanity are described for the specific hour, day, month, and year that GOD Almighty decides.
We know through everything that is happening, GOD Almighty is in absolute sovereignty, dominion, authority, and control. We do not have to fear as believers. We learn that those that are wicked do not want to change their belief. They do not want to repent. This is leading them to destruction. There are only two paths in life. The path of the righteous and the path of the wicked. The path of the righteous leads to eternal life. The path of the wicked leads to destruction. We learn that is what happens in Chapter 9. We learn in Chapter 10, there is a mighty angel that gives John, the disciple, a scroll that he is supposed to eat. There are also seven thunders that allow for a voice to be heard from heaven, and John, the disciple, is told not to write down what he heard from the voice after hearing the seven thunders. GOD Almighty decides specifically what happens in Revelation.
The righteous are not harmed, and we learn that there are angels that are told to harm wicked humanity for the specific hour, day, month, and year. We learn that this is GOD Almighty giving information that no one else knows. We learn that John, the disciple, is in exile because of his belief in GOD Almighty, and GOD Almighty exalting John, the disciple, by allowing him to have the Revelation of King Jesus Christ. We know that the sixth angel sounds the trumpet and there is still another angel that is going to sound the trumpet and the mystery of GOD Almighty would be revealed. This is prior to the bowls of wrath. The first two sets are considered the judgment of GOD Almighty while the third set is considered the wrath of GOD Almighty. The wrath of GOD Almighty against the wicked. These are the wicked of the wicked.
“Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, 'Rise and measure the temple of GOD and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”- Revelation 11: 1-3
John, the disciple, is given a measuring rod that is like a staff and to measure the temple of GOD Almighty. We learn that he is told to measure the temple of GOD Almighty and the altar and those who worship there. Not to measure the court outside the temple because that is given over to the nations. The nations are going to trample the holy city for forty-two months. This tells us that in the end times the temple in Jerusalem is going to be important. We learn that John, the disciple is told to measure the temple. We also know that he is not to measure the court outside the temple because the nations will go against Jerusalem for forty-two months. It seems that the wicked of the nations will be allowed to attempt to destroy Jerusalem. Why is this? Why is Jerusalem being allowed to have difficulties? This is judgment because even within Jerusalem there are individuals that are wicked.
We know that at the end of the ages there will be righteous and wicked individuals in Israel. We know that the righteous are protected, but the wicked will be judged. We learn in Scriptures that in the time of the end, it is described as a time of wickedness. We know that GOD Almighty is able to decide what happens. GOD Almighty told us that the temple that He cares about is King Jesus Christ, the Everlasting Temple, High Priest, and atoning sacrifice. We do not need the Levitical priesthood because King Jesus Christ is an Eternal High Priest and an atoning sacrifice for all humanity for all time.
The Two Witnesses Preach Repentance of Sin and GOD Almighty's Grace
We know that for forty-two months Jerusalem will be attacked because of the judgment and wickedness that is happening even in Israel. Even in Israel there will be individuals that are wicked. This is what the Scriptures talk about. Then we know that there are two witnesses that are given authority to prophecy for 1,260 days covered in sackcloth. Within Israel and Jerusalem we know that there is a lot that is going on. We know that there are going to be two witnesses, two individuals of GOD Almighty that are testifying and giving testimony about the Word of GOD Almighty. They are probably testifying to King Jesus Christ's Word. We know that they are going to prophesy for 1,260 days. This may correlate with the forty-two months. At the time that the great city is having difficulties, there may be individuals that are going to be prophesying.
We know that the forty-two months may correlate to the 1,260 days of the two witnesses. The two witnesses are going to prophesy covered in sackcloth. We learn that even when there is wickedness, GOD Almighty sends righteous individuals to preach the grace of GOD Almighty and the need for repentance of sin. Even when people do not want to know about GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty still offers grace at the end of the ages of what we know. This talks about the steadfast filial love of GOD Almighty. This is interesting because even in the end times and the great tribulation, there is grace for the people in Israel and Jerusalem. Even when there is wickedness and destruction happening, the two witnesses are going to witness about King Jesus Christ for the specific amount of days.
“These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the LORD of the earth. And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed. They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their LORD was crucified. For three and a half days some from the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb, and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth. But after the three and a half days a breath of life from GOD entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, 'Come up here!' And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the GOD of heaven.”- Revelation 11: 4-13
Two Olive Trees, Two Lampstands
What do olive trees represent? Usually they represent the olives and the olive oil that is produced from the olives to anoint individuals. We know that olive trees are considered important by GOD Almighty. We learn that olive trees produce fruit, and olive trees are able to produce olives. They are useful. We learn that they are also described as two lampstands. We learn that they are described as light. Not only do they produce fruit, but that they produce light. What are the distinction of Christian believers? They are productive. Everything that they do, everything that they touch, every endeavor is accomplished through GOD Almighty. There is abundance and there is blessings. We know that the lampstands signify light so that there is light in them. Those true Christian believers are light like King Jesus Christ is light. GOD Almighty is able to create light and is described as light.
We learn that when society does not want to know about GOD Almighty, that is when there is darkness. This is because there is no light. If there are no Christian believers, there is no light. If there is no King Jesus Christ, there is no light. If there is no praising GOD Almighty, there is no light. We read that these two individuals are able to produce fruit because they are able to preach the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty. They are also considered as light and are able to stand before the LORD of the earth. These individuals are able to stand before GOD Almighty. Why are they allowed to stand? Because they are righteous. Who are those that can stand before the LORD? Those who have a pure heart and wash their hands in innocence. This talking about righteousness.
We learn that if anyone tries to harm the two witnesses, we know that fire pours out from their mouth and consumes their foes. We question how the two witnesses are able to preach about repentance of sin when there is destruction happening in the world and even in Israel and Jerusalem? How are they going to be able to preach the Word of GOD Almighty? How are they going to be able to prophesy about the Word of GOD Almighty? GOD Almighty allows them to defend themselves when individuals attempt to prevent their purpose of glorifying GOD Almighty. We learn that if anyone attempts to prevent them from prophesying they are going to allow for fire to pour out from their mouth and destroy their enemies. This is talking about judgment of GOD Almighty. We ask ourselves how are they going to breath out fire? GOD Almighty decides.
GOD Almighty is giving the individuals at the end of the ages of what we know the manner that they can listen to the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty. If someone attempts to threaten them, fire comes out of their mouths and consumes their foes. GOD Almighty allows them to be protected. That is not the only thing that they can do. They are able to destroy their adversaries through fire that comes out of their mouths. GOD Almighty provides. Not only can they afflict at the individual level, but they can cause difficulties at the nation level. They are able to cause for drought, the waters to turn into blood, and provide judgment that is similar to the judgments that GOD Almighty has already pronounced through previous judgments in the sounding of the trumpets. We also learn that they are able to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they desire.
The Signs and Wonders of the Two Witnesses are Similar to Moses' Signs and Wonders
This is GOD Almighty giving them power because they are righteous. They are not only given the ability to preach and give grace, but if there are individuals that try to harm them, they have the power to defend themselves. They can destroy their adversaries, cause drought, for the waters to turn into blood, and strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they desire. This is consistent with what Moses does. We learn that Moses is able to afflict the Egyptians with specific plagues that GOD Almighty allows to show that GOD Almighty is able to deliver the people of Israel. This is similar to what Moses does. These are signs and wonders that show the power of GOD Almighty. Not only is the preaching important, but GOD Almighty is able to defend them. GOD Almighty allows the two witnesses to provide signs for the people in order so that they repent from their sins.
We learn that at that specific time, there is that understanding that there are those that have decided to not repent of their sin. Even then, GOD Almighty is giving grace so that the people can repent of their sins. GOD Almighty is allowing the two witnesses to defend themselves. We learn that after they finish their testimony for that specific amount of time of 1,260 days, they will be killed but before that they are allowed to be protected from those evil individuals that try to afflict them. We learn that at the end of that time, the beast will kill them. We learn that they will lay in the streets and the people will rejoice. Instead of the people seeing the two witnesses as GOD Almighty's grace, peace, and rebuke, they cheer when they are killed. This is talking about GOD Almighty's grace to even send two prophets at the end of the ages of what we know in order for the people to repent. We know that there will be those individuals that will try to say that GOD Almighty never sent anyone to preach and so they did not know about the need to repent and obey the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty. There are those who are going to say that they never knew.
We know that GOD Almighty is giving grace because there are these two witnesses that are preaching for 1,260 days. They are prophesying and preaching in Israel. So there is no excuse for when there is judgment because GOD Almighty gave the manner that there was time to preach repentance of sin and for the people to repent of their sin. Even when there are two paths, the path of the righteous and the path of the wicked, we learn that some individuals at the end of the ages will choose to be wicked because of the difficulties of the times and because of the decrease of the belief in GOD Almighty. We learn that there are these two witnesses who are preaching the Word of GOD Almighty for 1,260 days.
We learn that the people are going to celebrate when they see the deaths of the two witnesses. They are going to celebrate and even refuse to let the two witnesses be placed in a tomb. They are even going to exchange presents because there will no longer be the preaching ongoing. They consider the two witnesses a torment on the earth. The individuals of the earth choose to celebrate instead of repent. They do not want to know anything about GOD Almighty. They want to forsake GOD Almighty, and they want to forsake the prophets that GOD Almighty sends. For three and a half days, they will not even try to place them in a tomb. The inhabitants of the world only want to celebrate that the two prophets are no longer preaching.
The two prophets are no longer preaching, and the people are celebrating and exchanging presents. We know that celebration is short sighted because we read that after three and a half days, a breath of life from GOD Almighty enters into the two prophets and they stand on their feet. We learn that the people are astonished because the two prophets are able to experience a resurrection. We learn that while the two prophets are dead for three and a half days, GOD Almighty allows them to resurrect. They have resurrection power. We read that King Jesus Christ is resurrected, and these two prophets are able to be resurrected as well. Even though these two prophets were killed, they are going to be resurrected and go up to heaven. We know that the inhabitants of the world that were celebrating are now seeing that the two prophets are resurrected by GOD Almighty.
The Two Prophets are Resurrected like King Jesus Christ
We learn that the two prophets are resurrected like King Jesus Christ. There was a loud voice from heaven that calls them up to heaven and they go up to heaven on a cloud. We learn that the people of the earth are able to watch the two prophets go up to heaven. We learn that there is a great earthquake and a tenth of the city fell. We learn that seven thousand people are killed in the earthquake. We learn that this is the grace of GOD Almighty. The two witnesses are able to preach and speak about the Word of GOD Almighty and the need to repent from sin. We learn that when the two witnesses are killed, the people celebrate. This tells us how GOD Almighty is able to see the intentions, actions, and words of the people at the end of the ages of what we know. We learn that at that time, humanity is being described as wicked because they choose to celebrate the death of righteous individuals. We learn that there is the judgment of GOD Almighty, and GOD Almighty allows for the two witnesses to receive resurrection power and be resurrected and go up to heaven.
We learn that the two prophets go up to heaven in a cloud and then there is a great earthquake that causes a tenth of the city to fall and that causes seven thousand people to be destroyed. We know that great earthquakes signify judgment from GOD Almighty. This is another method that GOD Almighty uses to judge wicked humanity. We learn that a tenth of the city falls. Seven thousand people are destroyed, and we know that the people give glory to GOD Almighty. We read that this allows us to understand that GOD Almighty has control over the events of Revelation and throughout the world and all time. We learn that when the two prophets are killed, GOD Almighty is on His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens. When the two prophets are resurrected, GOD Almighty is on His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens. This tells us that GOD Almighty knows everything that is happening. GOD Almighty knows every detail.
We learn that GOD Almighty gives power to His believers. We learn that the two prophets are able to serve the purpose of GOD Almighty, and they are able to preach. They obey GOD Almighty, they prophesy, and they defend themselves, but the people do not want to know anything about that. We do not know if there is a remnant that is saved or a specific amount of people repent from their sins. We do not know. We know that in the great tribulation there are going to be individuals that are going to be saved. We do not know so we can not say for sure. We learn that even when they go through difficulties and are killed, GOD Almighty resurrects them in three and a half days. They are saved. Then there is an earthquake. GOD Almighty is praised.
“The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to come.”- Revelation 11: 14
We learn that this is something that is describing the judgments that were happening. We did not know again if there were going to be Christian believers at the end of the ages. We know that as there is the rapture and the persecution of Christians, there will be a decreased amount of Christians at the end of the ages of what we know. We know that even through the difficulties, GOD Almighty is going to send the two prophets that will be able to preach and speak about the Word of GOD Almighty even at that time that is spoken in Revelation. We know that these individuals are important for GOD Almighty. They are considered like olive trees and lampstands. This means that they produce fruit and are described as light. They are considered important for GOD Almighty. They are Christian believers. Even when it appears that there were going to be a decreased amount of Christians because most of humanity is described as wicked, we learn that GOD Almighty is still going to provide for two prophets that will preach the Word of GOD Almighty.
We learn that if there are righteous Christians left at the end of the times spoken in Revelation, we learn that GOD Almighty is going to provide for those individuals so that they are able to preach. GOD Almighty is able to protect those that are true Christians. We know that even when it appears that there is a decreased amount of Christians at the time that the tormenting creatures afflict the wicked, GOD Almighty provides for the righteous Christians to persevere and are protected by GOD Almighty. We learn that they are protected because they have the seal of GOD Almighty on their foreheads and are not allowed to be harmed. Also the grass and the green plants are not allowed to be harmed. GOD Almighty is able to provide. GOD Almighty is in control and protects those that are righteous.
We see that they are able to prophesy at the worst time of the tribulation. This is probably towards the last times of the tribulation. This is towards the latter end of the difficulty and they can still prophesy. We know that there may still be some Christian individuals. We know that the righteous are going to be able to persevere until GOD Almighty decides. We learn that King Jesus Christ is described at some point in Revelation to be with the righteous on Mount Zion. We know that those that are Christians are protected, and there is that understanding that there may not be a large number of Christians during that time because that time is close to the third set of judgments. There has either been the rapture or persecution. We learn that even the prophets are judgment against the wicked because they are allowed to cause drought. The two prophets are able to afflict the sources of water and also cause plagues. At the same time, GOD Almighty allows them to defend themselves.
This is speaking about the grace and steadfast filial love of GOD Almighty of being able to provide for the prophets to preach repentance to the people at that time in the great tribulation and then also allows them to defend themselves. We learn that they are also able to resurrect on the third day like King Jesus Christ. We know there is an earthquake and wicked individuals are destroyed. We learn there is still a seventh angel that was going to sound the trumpets and the mystery of GOD Almighty would be fulfilled. We know that GOD Almighty is in absolute dominion, sovereignty, authority, and control of everything that is happening.
“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our LORD and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.' And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before GOD fell on their faces and worshiped GOD, saying,
'We give thanks to you, LORD GOD Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.'
Then GOD's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.”- Revelation 11: 15-19
We know that when the seventh angel sounds the trumpet there are loud voices in heaven that say that the kingdom of our LORD and of His Christ is beginning to be realized. This is the mystery of the purpose of GOD Almighty. We learn that throughout history from even the time of Genesis to Revelation the world was given limited authority to see how individuals acted and what path they decided to choose for. When I say the world, I mean the inhabitants of the world and a worldly perspective. We learn that the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our LORD and of His Christ and King Jesus Christ will reign forever and ever. We spoke about this in Revelation and also in the writings of Paul. The mystery of GOD Almighty is that King Jesus Christ is given authority by GOD Almighty because of His obedience when He arrived to earth.
We learn that in the beginning, GOD Almighty created everything. GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth created everything. Everything is created by GOD Almighty and is under the subjection of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty oversees everything that happens. Everything that is happening in Revelation, GOD Almighty knows to the specific detail. We know that when sin is introduced and there is evil, GOD Almighty allows evil to be used as a method to determine those that are righteous from those that are not. We know that even within the rebelling against GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty allows for evil to test individuals to see if they are righteous or not. We know that King Jesus Christ is given power, dominion, sovereignty, strength, might, wisdom, and understanding because of His obedience to GOD Almighty. For this reason King Jesus Christ is sent as a human, died on the cross, and resurrected on the third day. GOD Almighty gives King Jesus Christ all power, might, wisdom, strength, authority, dominion, understanding, and control for all eternity. This is the mystery of the world.
For those two thousand years that we are waiting for King Jesus Christ to return, GOD Almighty allows for the world to obtain limited authority to test individuals to see if they are righteous or are not righteous. This is in order to see who are righteous and who are not righteous. We know that when King Jesus Christ returns, He is going to destroy, judge, and remove sin, death, and evil. We learn that limited authority is going to be given to King Jesus Christ in addition to the absolute authority that King Jesus Christ has and that is what is meant by the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of the LORD and of His Christ. And King Jesus Christ will reign forever and ever. While it seems that the world has power, we learn that GOD Almighty is able to oversee everything. We learn that GOD Almighty is in absolute authority, dominion, sovereignty, and control of everything and is going to give all the authority to King Jesus Christ to defeat death, sin, and evil. Once death, sin, and evil are destroyed for all eternity, GOD Almighty is going to give all the power, strength, might, wisdom, understanding, dominion, sovereignty, and authority back to GOD Almighty. This is because GOD Almighty is the Creator. This is the mystery of GOD Almighty that He is providing for righteous individuals to know. GOD Almighty is in absolute sovereignty, dominion, authority, and control and King Jesus Christ is going to destroy, judge, and remove His adversaries.
Once this happens, we learn that King Jesus Christ will have His kingdom established. We know that the Book of Revelation tells us of the judgment of King Jesus Christ. This is the judgment that King Jesus Christ is able to accomplish. He is able to destroy creation, He is able to destroy the wicked, and this is all because King Jesus Christ is given the manner to provide judgment and justice to the righteous. That is why in the beginning chapter of Revelation tells us that individuals will wail on account of King Jesus Christ. This is because of King Jesus Christ providing judgment and justice for the righteous against the wicked. We learn that King Jesus Christ is allowed to arrive to earth as a suffering servant in order to fulfill the words of the prophets. We learn that when he is resurrected, we learn that He goes up to heaven and for two thousand years allows for there to be the separation between the righteous and the wicked.
We learn that the righteous have eternal purpose and meaning, and the wicked have a purpose and a finality. The righteous are those that decide to glorify GOD Almighty over everything that is in the world and to have faith in GOD Almighty. We learn that evil exists to test individuals and see those that are wicked. What happens in Revelation? We see that this is what happens. The wicked are ensnared in their sin and then there is the judgment of King Jesus Christ through the breaking of the seals and the sounding of the trumpets by the angels causing destruction on the earth. We have that realization that GOD Almighty has absolute power, authority, sovereignty, and control and always will have absolute power, authority, sovereignty, and control. We learn that the evil that exists in the world will no longer be when King Jesus Christ returns. GOD Almighty has always been in absolute control, will be in absolute control, and will forever be in absolute control. We learn that King Jesus Christ with GOD Almighty and the Spirit of Truth are the True GOD Almighty. We learn that the individuals in heaven are worshiping, praising, and glorifying GOD Almighty.

We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
