Episode: Revelation Chapter 10
Introduction
Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. We spoke about Chapter 9 of Revelation. Now we are going to go to Chapter 10. We know that Chapter 9 speaks about the judgment that GOD Almighty is going to give against wicked individuals. We know that when the trumpets are sounded this shows that there is judgment on the wicked. We know that the first four trumpets are against creation. They were against the seas, the mountains, and against the rivers and the springs of water, and the sun, the moon, and the stars. The creation is not working like it used to. The creation is not at its optimal operation how GOD Almighty was allowing for it to be optimal before.
There is all this destruction and all this change indicating that there is judgment being brought upon the earth for the wickedness of humanity. We know that these judgments affect the creation and individuals that are left over who do not have the seal of GOD Almighty. We know that the world changes because of the wickedness that has occurred on the earth. We know that the earth is diminished in those things that are needed. We read in the fifth trumpet that is sounded that there are tormenting creatures that are released that afflict non-believers. They are allowed to afflict the wicked. We know that they have limits. They cannot do whatever they want. GOD Almighty decides what they are allowed to do. We know that GOD Almighty has absolute control. We learn that this is similar to the example of King Jesus Christ that no one could open the scroll with the seven seals, and only King Jesus Christ was able to open the scroll and break the seals.
King Jesus Christ is given authority by GOD Almighty. We know the specific detail of control that GOD Almighty has over His creation. We know that the evil creatures are not allowed to harm or torment the righteous because they have the seal of GOD Almighty on their forehead. This is talking about GOD Almighty's protection, and GOD Almighty's control. GOD Almighty protects the righteous and the wicked do not have that protection. The wicked forsake GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty forsakes the wicked. We learn that those creatures torment the individuals that do not have the seal of GOD Almighty on their forehead. They are also not allowed to harm the grass of the earth, or any green plant, or any tree. They are not allowed to harm those that have the seal of GOD Almighty on their foreheads. These specific creatures are under the authority of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth.
This is telling us of GOD Almighty's control over all the creation. These creations that cause affliction are allowed to harm individuals that are wicked. The wicked individuals will be afflicted for five months and will want to pass away, but they will not be able to. This is their own torment for five months. That is speaking to GOD Almighty's control. This is speaking about GOD Almighty seeing all the wickedness that happens on the earth that is being committed by the wicked and that falls back on their heads. Even the evil that they worship or they think is going to help, is not going to help them. Evil is only going to destroy the wicked and cause them torment. That is what we know. What GOD Almighty says is true.
Only GOD Almighty can protect. Only GOD Almighty can provide. Only GOD Almighty loves us. So that is what we know. At the sixth trumpet that is sounded, we know that there are four angels. Those four angels are prepared for the specific hour, day, month, and year. GOD Almighty is in control and knows specifically how He wants things to be done. We know that when those angels are prepared for the specific time that GOD Almighty decides, they are allowed to destroy a third of mankind. What we know is that those that are left over from all of that, they still do not repent of their sins. We learn that even when there is the destruction of a third of mankind, they still continue to practice idolatry and sin. We also learn that even after being tormented by those evil creatures, they still do not repent of their sins.
The wicked decide to continue on sinning. This is why there is greater judgment by GOD Almighty. What we learn is that GOD Almighty speaks truth. Even though they are worshiping idols and committing sin, their situation is not getting any better. They are not protected because only GOD Almighty can give protection. Only GOD Almighty can provide. This is speaking to the control of GOD Almighty over history from Genesis to Revelation. This is speaking about the authority of GOD Almighty and the authority that GOD Almighty gives to King Jesus Christ to decide the events that are going to happen. This is because King Jesus Christ obeyed GOD Almighty, and the Spirit of Truth also has authority. The Spirit of Truth guides believers and helps them. There seems to be that at this point there are not many Christians left, true Christians, but if there are, they are protected by GOD Almighty. This is because they have the seal of GOD Almighty on their foreheads.
Those who are wicked do not repent even after seeing all these signs. Their unbelief is leading them to destruction. We learn that there is idolatry, murders, sorceries, adultery, and evil that is leading them to destruction, and they do not want to change. This is telling us about GOD Almighty's control. While there may be descriptions that speak to the difficulties of Revelation, we also know that GOD Almighty is allowing us to be at peace knowing that GOD Almighty is in control. There is nothing to be afraid of even with the descriptions that are happening. We know that GOD Almighty defends those that are His. From a believers point of view, there is nothing to fear. This is like what King Jesus Christ tells John, the disciple, fear not. What does King Jesus Christ tells us in the Gospel? Do not be anxious for anything. GOD Almighty tells us not to be in dread. Do not call conspiracy what others call conspiracy and let GOD Almighty, the LORD of hosts, be your fear and let GOD Almighty be your dread. We can persevere through GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth.
“Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, 'Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.' And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of GOD would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”- Revelation 10: 1-7
We know that there is a mighty angel that is able to come down from heaven and is wrapped in a cloud with a rainbow over his head and his face was like the sun. We read that GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth along with the living creatures, elders, and the angels are described as light. We learn that Christians are also light. We read that the angel had his legs described as pillars of fire. We learn that angel has a little scroll open in his hand. We learn that the angel is able to place his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. We learn that there are seven thunders that sounded and when John, the disciple, was about to write what the seven thunders said, there was a voice from heaven that said,' Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.' There are specific things that we do not know. We do not know everything. We know what is spoken of in Revelation. We know what is going to happen but then there are other things that we do not know. This is speaking about the mysteries of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty allows us to understand specific information that we need to know, and is able to withhold information that we are not supposed to know at this specific time. When the seven thunders sounded, there was something that they said, but John, the disciple, was told not to write it down. So we know that there are events or something that we do not know.
We know that if we believe in GOD Almighty, GOD Almighty will allow us to know when GOD Almighty allows us to know. GOD Almighty will let us know when we need to know. That is why when we are Christians, we have to place our trust in GOD Almighty. We know that we know a lot but not everything. We need to know that GOD Almighty will provide that information when we need to know it at the specific time. Once the seventh trumpet is sounded, we learn that the mystery of GOD Almighty would be fulfilled like He told the prophets. The mystery of GOD Almighty would be fulfilled. There would be the fulfillment of the purpose of GOD Almighty for creation.
“Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, 'Go, take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.' So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, 'Take and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.' And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it. It was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter. And I was told, 'You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.'”- Revelation 10: 8-11
John, the disciple, is told to go to the angel and to take the scroll and eat it. This meant that the disciple has to prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings. John, the disciple, has to prophesy about the Word of GOD Almighty. We learn that Ezekiel has a similar vision when he is told to take a scroll and once Ezekiel eats the scroll then he learns about the purpose of GOD Almighty and the Word of GOD Almighty and goes and preaches to the people of Israel. We learn that either the Spirit of Truth helps the individual obtain knowledge and prophesy about the Word of GOD Almighty or that the scroll symbolizes the knowledge of GOD Almighty that is needed to preach and prophesy about the Scriptures of GOD Almighty. Ezekiel is able to know about his purpose in prophesying and preaching the Word of GOD Almighty.
John is given a scroll and eats it and is able to prophesy. We learn that the scrolls signify prophesy and events that have not happened yet. This is telling us that John, the disciple, is told of the need to prophesy and tell the many peoples and nations and languages and kings about the Word of GOD Almighty so that they can repent, change, and get eternal life. This might symbolize the Scriptures of GOD Almighty and the truth of GOD Almighty. This means of the need to preach and have the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty within us. This is like the Spirit of Truth. We have to believe in the worship of GOD Almighty. We have to be able to be able to pay attention to the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty, give GOD Almighty the importance that is needed, and that our intentions, actions, and words glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this life.
I do not know specifically but it is similar to what Ezekiel does. We learn that there are other secrets and other prophecies. This is something that is told so that he can pay attention and obey to what the angel says. We know there is a specific pause between the sixth and the seventh angel. That pause tells us that the chapters may not be chronological while the events at the end of the Book of Revelation are chronological. The ending of Revelation is chronological. This chapter of Revelation contrasts to all the destruction that is happening in Chapter 9. We learn that even through everything that is happening, GOD Almighty is in absolute sovereignty, dominion, power, and control. We learn that GOD Almighty has authority, dominion, sovereignty, wisdom, strength, might, understanding and all those good things that are from GOD Almighty, but also that there are angels that are able to provide signs and wonders and fulfill the purpose of GOD Almighty. Chapter 10 tells us that there are good angels of GOD Almighty that are able to fulfill the purpose of GOD Almighty.
We read about the previous chapter about there being evil creatures that afflicted the wicked but could not harm the righteous. We learn that in Chapter 10 there are good angels that are able to fulfill the purpose of GOD Almighty. This tells us that GOD Almighty has control over all creation and that GOD Almighty decides. We know that in the tenth chapter that there are angels that are helping fulfill the purpose of GOD Almighty. The angel tells John, the disciple, to be able to learn about prophesy through the eating of the scroll. We learn that King Jesus Christ allows John, the disciple, to know about specific knowledge that he has to know. We know that there are thunders that sounded, but John is told not to write what the seven thunders said. This is showing that GOD Almighty gives favor to those disciples and apostles who accept King Jesus Christ and preach the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty.
We learn that John, the disciple, knows not only about what the seven thunders sounded, but also was able to know about specific prophesies that were needed to be told to the churches. We learn that John, the disciple, is able to understand the times that individuals are living in currently and even to the future. This is speaking of the favor of GOD Almighty to allow disciples and apostles to know about the future through prophesy. We learn that John, the disciple, is exiled for his faith and is placed in the island of Patmos. When John, the disciple, is exiled, GOD Almighty gives favor to John, the disciple, and is able to see the prophesy of the Revelation of King Jesus Christ. We read that GOD Almighty allows for individuals who are righteous to know about prophesy. We learn that GOD Almighty is on His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens, King Jesus Christ has absolute authority, and the Spirit of Truth guides us. We also know that there are good angels that are fulfilling the purpose of GOD Almighty who also have power, authority, dominion, strength, might, wisdom, and sovereignty because they are obedient to GOD Almighty.

The purpose of this blog is the glorification of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
