Episode: Revelation Chapter 7
Introduction
Good afternoon! My name is Eduardo. This is Resurrection Radio Podcast. I am your presenter. We spoke about the first few chapters of Revelation. We talked about Revelation Chapter 6. We spoke about the importance of King Jesus Christ having authority to decide when things happen concerning the seals of the scroll. When we read about the seven seals, we learn that each seal that is opened represents an event. Once a seal is opened, a specific event occurs. These events are difficulties that begin to happen on the earth. They are difficulties that begin to happen.
The Events of the Great Tribulation and Sin
These events indicate the beginning of the great tribulation. This is described as a time of difficulty so that is why it is called the great tribulation. King Jesus Christ calls that time the great tribulation because of the increased amount of difficulties that are going to happen on the earth. We have described every specific event concerning the opening of the seals of the scroll. This tells us that it is not going to be a time of abundance or resources or peace, this is because of the wickedness that has happened not only from the beginning of creation but also in the last times that are portrayed as times of great wickedness.
We learn that there has been increased lies, sin, deception, deceit, hatred, envy, wickedness, adultery, slander, and violence. All these things are causing for judgment to be stored. When King Jesus Christ has authority to open the seals, this is talking not only about the authority that GOD Almighty gives to King Jesus Christ, but this is also talking about how King Jesus Christ is able to judge wicked humanity. We know that these times of judgment are because of the wickedness of wicked individuals. This is because of the evil and sin that is happening. This is a reminder for Christian believers to know that there is justice. GOD Almighty establishes judgment. GOD Almighty is a GOD of Justice.
GOD Almighty gives everlasting love to believers for those that believe in King Jesus Christ. Those who King Jesus Christ calls His own. There is justice and retribution for those that do not want to believe in GOD Almighty. This is talking of not wanting to repent of sin, not wanting to follow what GOD Almighty says, and not obeying the commandments. We have to have faith in GOD Almighty and King Jesus Christ. We have to keep believing in GOD Almighty. We have to trust in GOD Almighty. We have to have a meek spirit. We have to be at peace knowing that King Jesus Christ is in absolute sovereignty, dominion, power, and authority of everything that is happening.
King Jesus Christ is the individual who is opening the seals. We know that even if there is persecution for some Christians, we also know that there is also a rapture of a specific amount of Christians. So whatever method whether it is the rapture or persecution, we still have to keep believing in King Jesus Christ's name and not denying the name of King Jesus Christ. We are not supposed to deny the name of King Jesus Christ, and are instead supposed to believe in the name of King Jesus Christ. We have to have faith in the name of King Jesus Christ. The name of King Jesus Christ is salvation. The Word of GOD Almighty does not pass away meaning that the old earth and the old heaven is going to pass away, but the Word of GOD Almighty is not going to pass away.
Who is the word of GOD Almighty? King Jesus Christ. King Jesus Christ does not pass away. What do we know about King Jesus Christ? GOD Almighty did not abandon King Jesus Christ to Hades. David says this in the Psalms and Peter stated to the people of Israel this understanding and wisdom. That is what happens, King Jesus Christ is not abandoned to death. King Jesus Christ resurrects on the third day, and He was able to show believers that they have to preach. They have to persevere because the Spirit of Truth was going to be in them helping them. They would be able to accomplish great signs so that people and individuals would believe. We learn that some individuals like Peter, Stephen, and Luke are allowed to preach in Israel. For other individuals like Paul, they have to go out of Israel. We know that they are able to make disciples out of the nations.
Isaiah describes that even those that did not know about GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth were able to see and hear about the Word in Scripture of GOD Almighty. There were going to be Gentile believers even when these blessings were for the people of Israel initially. We learn that while Israel had the promises of GOD Almighty to Abraham, it was the Gentiles who were going to start believing first in King Jesus Christ prior to Israel being committed to believing in King Jesus Christ. We know that there are individuals that believe because we read about Peter being able to convert three thousand individuals in a day and five thousand individuals in another day. We read about Paul being able to convert individuals within the regions of Corinth and Galatia.
We learn this from the letters that Paul writes to those regions. We learn that regardless of the circumstances, we have to keep the name of King Jesus Christ in our minds, in our hearts, and in our souls. This is the love that we have for GOD Almighty. We have to love GOD Almighty with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, all our being, and all our strength. We have to keep renewing our faith. Only through our faith can we have eternal life. There is nothing else in this life that can give us eternal life. There is no other philosophy and there is no other belief and no other individual. Only King Jesus Christ can give us eternal life. That is what GOD Almighty has decided for humanity. Only through King Jesus Christ do we have eternal life.
GOD, the Father, has decided for King Jesus Christ to give us eternal life. King Jesus Christ obeyed GOD Almighty and because of this is given eternal life. Now King Jesus Christ is able to give eternal life to those that believe in King Jesus Christ. John the disciple is shown GOD Almighty on His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens because of King Jesus Christ. This is what King Jesus Christ says. If they saw King Jesus Christ, they saw GOD, the Father. King Jesus Christ is able to show John, the disciple, GOD, the Father on His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens, the four living creatures, and the twenty four elders and the angels and the Highest Heavens. GOD Almighty gives King Jesus Christ authority to rule with an iron rod meaning with discipline. King Jesus Christ is going to obey GOD Almighty, but is going to rule.
King Jesus Christ became human from being in the Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens, preached, was crucified, and resurrected on the third day. Sin, death, evil, and the workers of evil are destroyed on the cross. Through the resurrection, King Jesus Christ is given authority. Sin, death, and evil are destroyed because of King Jesus Christ. We learn that Chapter 7 answers the question that was asked in Chapter 6. After the faithful individuals are persecuted, there is darkness. This is judgment from GOD Almighty against the wicked for going against the righteous. We learn that the righteous are considered like light. When they are gone because of the rapture or persecution, there is darkness in the land.
The sun does not shine. The moon does not shine. The stars do not shine. We learn that this is different from before. This is talking about King Jesus Christ's and GOD Almighty's authority over creation. Everyone on earth that is leftover are aware of King Jesus Christ. “For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” They ask who can stand before the presence of King Jesus Christ. Even the wicked know this. King Jesus Christ has power. Who can stand? We learn that Chapter 7 answers that.
“After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living GOD, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, saying, 'Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our GOD on their foreheads.'”-Revelation 7: 1-3
We know that there are four angels that are at the four corners of the earth and are holding back the four winds of the earth that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. We know that this is talking about the winds being able to produce destruction. The four angels do not allow for the winds to start yet because we know that there is going to be destruction on the earth. There is an angel that has a seal of the living GOD, and he is telling the four angels who are holding back the winds that they are not supposed to harm the earth or the sea until the servants of GOD are sealed on their foreheads.
We learn that the 144,000 righteous individuals are sealed by the name of GOD Almighty meaning that they are of GOD Almighty. We know that there are angels that seal the righteous and those individuals are of GOD Almighty. This is in order to show that GOD Almighty has ownership over them. We learn that evil is going to try to mark individuals with a specific technological modification so that they are considered of the world meaning they are not of King Jesus Christ. This is talking about King Jesus Christ wanting to show that His individuals are His. King Jesus Christ knows those that are His even before they were created. We learn about the story of Jeremiah that he is given a purpose to be a prophet even before he was created. GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth had given Jeremiah a purpose before creation.
We learn that GOD Almighty tells Jeremiah that before He formed Jeremiah, GOD Almighty knew who Jeremiah was. What GOD Almighty does is perfect and amazing. We learn that evil wants to copy what GOD Almighty does. We know that GOD Almighty knows our purpose even before we are born. We know that King Jesus Christ tells us that He knows those that are of King Jesus Christ. We learn that this is talking about King Jesus Christ calling His disciples and telling them that those that are of King Jesus Christ know His voice and obey the commandments. For righteous individuals, we know that we are of King Jesus Christ because we obey the commandments, by having faith in King Jesus Christ, and by confessing King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. This is by believing, having zealous faith, and reading Scripture. This is by loving GOD Almighty with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, and all our being, all our strength, all our understanding, and all our wisdom.
Because we love GOD Almighty, we know that we are His. Obviously, evil wants to copy GOD Almighty and attempts to create technological methods that try to mark non-believers and the wicked. Those that are righteous know about this through the Book of Revelation and do not partake in that because we are of GOD Almighty. We learn that the righteous 144,000 are sealed on the forehead with the name of GOD Almighty and are protected by the angels of GOD Almighty. We see GOD Almighty's protection. What is about to happen is that there is going to be harm on earth and sea. There is going to be destruction and judgment by GOD Almighty on the earth and the sea. This is not allowed to begin until the servants of GOD Almighty are sealed.
This is talking about the protection of GOD Almighty for those that are His.
"And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,
12,000 from the tribe of Reuben,
12,000 from the tribe of Gad,
12,000 from the tribe of Asher,
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,
12,000 from the tribe of Simeon,
12,000 from the tribe of Levi,
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,
12,000 from the tribe of Joseph,
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.”- Revelation 7: 4-8
We know that there are 12,000 individuals from each of the twelve tribes of Israel. There is a total 144,000 individuals who are to be sealed. They do not go through destruction because they have been protected by GOD Almighty. We know about the tribes of Israel. These are not all the twelve tribes from the sons of Jacob. We learn that some tribes are omitted. We learn that other tribes are repeated. The tribe of Manasseh is from the tribe of Joseph. So that is talking about the tribe of Joseph being counted twice. Joseph and the tribe of Manasseh because the tribe of Manasseh is from Joseph. We know Manasseh and Joseph are included but other tribes are not included. We know that the tribe of Dan is not included. We know from the blessings that Jacob gives to the twelve tribes of Israel that all the children of Jacob get blessings, but the tribe of Dan is not spoken in positive terms. This could be prophecy. This could mean that they are not considered with the other tribes. I do not know.
I do know that the tribes of Israel are represented. Those individuals are protected by GOD Almighty.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, 'Salvation belongs to our GOD who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!' And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped GOD, saying, 'Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our GOD forever and ever! Amen.'”-Revelation 7: 9-12
After counting the specific individuals who are going to be sealed who are servants of GOD Almighty, there are other individuals that are not counted. They are innumerable and immeasurable. No specific number is given and they are from all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages. They were standing before the throne of GOD Almighty and the Lamb. They are given eternal life. White robes signify the clothing of heaven. They had palm branches in their hands. We learn that these individuals are crying out, “Salvation belongs to our GOD who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” They are giving glory to GOD Almighty and to King Jesus Christ. Everyone worships GOD Almighty. The individuals who are saved, the angels, the twenty four elders, and the four living creatures all worship before GOD Almighty. They say, “Amen! Blessings and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our GOD forever and ever! Amen.” This is telling us that they worship GOD Almighty. That is the reason of why we were created for. That is the reason why were were created to bless GOD Almighty, to worship GOD Almighty, and the glorify GOD Almighty.
“Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, 'Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?' I said to him, 'Sir, you know.' And he said to me, 'These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”- Revelation 7: 13-14
Again, these people are saved during the great tribulation. So while we might think that it is going to be a time of difficulty, it is a time of testing that will allow individuals to see the truth. Because some individuals will only see the truth when there are increased difficulties. Only through those difficulties are those individuals able to find GOD Almighty, place their faith in GOD Almighty, and believe in GOD Almighty. We learn that there are individuals that will find salvation in the time of the great tribulation. Glory to GOD Almighty! That is the important part finding salvation. The sooner the better because we know that there are going to be times of difficulty. The important part is salvation. There is nothing that we can take out of this life except our eternal salvation. Eternal salvation is the only important thing that matters in this life. If they find salvation prior to the great tribulation or during the great tribulation, praise GOD Almighty! That is important. That is the most important thing that an individual has.
There are individuals that are going to be raptured. There are individuals that are going to go through persecution but they are going to obtain their salvation, and that is what matters.
“'Therefore they are before the throne of GOD, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”- Revelation 7: 15-17
This is what salvation is. Individuals that are going to be saved are going to see GOD Almighty in the Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens. They will be in the Highest Heaven with GOD Almighty, and they will serve GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. The righteous will serve GOD Almighty day and night in His temple. For the world, individuals would ask what individuals are doing worshiping GOD Almighty day and night? Yes worshiping day and night because that is what we were created for and how we persevere to abound. GOD Almighty is everything, and GOD Almighty provides. We do not understand this unless it is through the help of the Spirit of Truth. If we look at this understanding through the Spirit of Truth, we know that there is nothing that suffices for us only GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth. There is nothing in this world that compares to GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth.
When we read about the righteous serving GOD Almighty day and night in His temple, that means that they are in the presence of GOD Almighty for all eternity worshiping GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty provides everything. GOD Almighty is everything. GOD Almighty is eternal, infinite, indestructible, infallible, inexhaustible, Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent among other qualities that the human mind cannot understand. GOD Almighty is always on His Highest Throne in the Highest Heavens. The righteous are going to serve GOD Almighty day and night in His temple. The Spirit of Truth allows us to understand this. That the worship of GOD Almighty, King Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth leads to all the good things that GOD Almighty provides in the Highest Heavens. We can understand this through the help of the Spirit of Truth. From the worldly perspective, they would not understand this.

We are reminded in the Book of Revelation of the need to persist through faith in the end times of what we know. We are to have belief in the Scriptures. We are to have faith in King Jesus Christ who died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life and who provides the Spirit of Truth. We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
