Positive Christianity Series Episode #158
We learn that Elijah is able to prepare the burnt offering that is able to demonstrate that GOD Almighty is the true GOD of gods making fire fall from the skies to consume the bull that was the burnt offering. We learn that Elijah also builds up the altar that had been thrown down. We learn that Elijah is able to repair the altar with the twelve stones representing Israel. Elijah is able to worship GOD Almighty and does not have fear nor doubts. We learn that Elijah also prepares the bull for the burnt offering that would be consumed by fire from the skies. Elijah tells the people to add water three times to the burnt offering describing that he did not doubt GOD Almighty.
"Then Elijah said to all the people, 'Come near to me.' And all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that had been thrown down. Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD came, saying, 'Israel shall be your name,' and with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD. And he made a trench about the altar, as could contain two seahs of seed. And he put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, 'Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.' And he said, 'Do it a second time.' And they did it a second time. And he said, 'Do it a third time.' And they did it a third time. And the water ran around the altar and filled the trench also with water. And at the time of the offering of the oblation, Elijah the prophet came near and said, 'O LORD, GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that you are GOD in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things in your word. Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that you, O LORD, are GOD, and that you have turned their hearts back.'"- 1 Kings 18: 36-37
Elijah repairs the altar of the LORD, prepares the bull for the burnt offering, and calls on the name of the LORD. We learn that GOD Almighty answers Elijah and fire falls from the Heavens and consumes the burnt offering after water had been poured on it three times. We learn that GOD Almighty makes fire fall from the skies proving that GOD Almighty is the GOD of gods. The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel is the true GOD Almighty.
"Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, 'The LORD, He is GOD; the LORD, He is GOD.'"- 1 Kings 18: 38-39
Israel sees that GOD Almighty is the true GOD Almighty and worships GOD Almighty. We learn that the story of Elijah describes the importance of humility and zeal to accomplish the purpose of GOD Almighty. We learn that Elijah did not feel discouraged despite the opposition, persecution, and envy that was happening at the time. We learn that Elijah trusts in the LORD and perseveres with courage reproving Ahab's idol worship, challenging the 950 false prophets to make fire fall from the skies, rebuilding the altar to the LORD, and destroying the false prophets who had persecuted righteous prophets. This wisdom allows us to know that GOD Almighty does not forsake righteous individuals who are humble and practice fidelity to GOD Almighty. We can learn to persevere with boldness preaching truth and reproving sin and idol worship.
To the human mind, there would be the question of how could Elijah persevere if the righteous prophets were being persecuted and Obadiah also was concerned about Elijah? Elijah does not feel discouraged and trusts in the Creator of the Highest Heavens, lower heavens, earth, the universe, humanity, creation, and everything. Even while there was persecution from Ahab and Jezebel and the 950 false prophets, Elijah accomplished his purpose with courage and valor. We learn that GOD Almighty does not forsake Elijah and helps him persevere. This wisdom allows us to trust in GOD Almighty and not in the discouragements that evil attempts to cause. Instead of comparing numbers, Elijah trusted in the Eternal and Infinite GOD of gods. Elijah obeys GOD Almighty without doubting, fear, or discouragement. All the people see the fire fall from the skies and consume the burnt offering. We learn that the people of Israel recognize that GOD Almighty is the True GOD of gods. We learn that GOD Almighty judges the false prophets who persecuted the righteous prophets, and Elijah destroys the 950 false prophets. GOD Almighty gives justice and destroys the idolatrous false prophets. For our times that describe the times prior to the great tribulation and/or the great tribulation, we can leave the vengeance to GOD Almighty while we persevere preaching and reproving idol worship, sin, and vices. We learn that King Jesus Christ can give greater vengeance and justice than the vengeance that we could take. For this reason, we can persevere with resiliency and patience knowing that we leave the justice in GOD Almighty's hands. We learn that GOD Almighty is Almighty and also Just.
"And Elijah said to them, 'Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape.' And they seized them. And Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon and slaughtered them there."- 1 Kings 18: 40

If Spotify links do not work, the GreatnessWithinUs.Life site has older articles with audio. Not sure if Spotify links do not work based on envy or human error. Most likely envy due to the times prior to the great tribulation and speaking truth, filial love, logic, and repentance of sin. I am going to keep preaching and having gratitude for not practicing idol worship, not being covid "vaccinated" (not even once), and not having to tell temporary lies. I am able to persevere with gratitude and true joy amidst living in not the best of times. Hallelu JAH!

I keep persevering and having gratitude amidst the times that we are living in that are not the best of times. While the false prophets have attempted to prevent the Spotify audio links from working among so many other attempts to discourage including freezing or preventing my debit card from working since about the time the covid “vaccines” started being implemented, preventing me from cashing in cashier checks at the local store, being unable to withdraw funds from 401k (no answer from phone line workers), false prophets making random noises during the day including yelling non-sense, getting on the apartment roof to scratch the roof, and knock at random intervals, preventing the ability to work, preventing the ability to return back to school to get a Master's degree and keep on receiving an education, preventing access to Wordpress, creating app pop-up messages to prevent me from writing, closing apps multiple times, cyber attacking a laptop and preventing me from logging in, changing the voltage of the electricity to cause a desktop computer to malfunction, and overall attempting to intimidate, cause envy, and anger, I am able to persevere knowing that we await the return of King Jesus Christ. Even amidst all this, I am going to keep preaching knowing that there is encouragement amidst the times that we live in.These are definitely not the best of times knowing that there is envy and cowardice from the false prophets who definitely do not like individuals to prosper and improve in the worship of GOD Almighty consistent with Scripture. Even amidst the attempts to discourage, I have gratitude that I am not covid “vaccinated” (not even once), am able to exercise everyday minimum thirty minutes a day trusting in my immune system that GOD Almighty created and in GOD Almighty, and can keep preaching and writing amidst the not so good times that we live in. I have gratitude to GOD Almighty for allowing me to persevere even amidst attempts by envy to discourage and demotivate knowing that I do not place my worth in temporary material resources and false “relationships”.Instead I choose to worship King Jesus Christ, the Eternal King of Kings. I am going to keep preaching and keep writing for the worship of GOD Almighty knowing that there are books being written in heaven concerning the good and bad that each individual has done. We must persevere obeying the commandments and trusting in GOD Almighty.

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot- they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all- so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”- Luke 17: 27-30
