Jehoshaphat Accepts Reproof From Jehu

 Jehoshaphat Accepts Reproof From Jehu

Positive Christianity Episode #165

GOD Almighty guarded Jehoshaphat from the Syrians and Ahab. We learn that we are able to persevere in obedience to the commandments of Moses with sincerity of heart. While Jehoshaphat did not know all the details, he did trust in GOD Almighty who did know all the details. We learn that GOD Almighty does not forsake JehoshaphatWe learn that Jehoshaphat was able to persevere when the Syrians had surrounded him thinking that he was Ahab. We learn that Jehoshaphat trusted in GOD Almighty and called on the name of the LORD. Jehoshaphat was able to persist when GOD Almighty removed his enemies from him. We learn that Ahab who had disguised himself and sent Jehoshaphat to fight for him, ends up struck with a random arrow from a Syrian soldier describing how GOD Almighty is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and also Just.

"Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned in safety to his house in Jerusalem."- 2 Chronicles 18: 1

Jehoshaphat is reproved by Jehu for having helped Ahab fight against the Syrians. We know that Ahab had persecuted Elijah, and GOD Almighty judged Ahab by anointing a new king of SyriaAhab had seen that his wickedness had caused him additional problems, yet instead of renouncing sin decides to get the help of JehoshaphatJehoshaphat had thought that he was unifying Israel when, in reality, Ahab was trying to send Jehoshaphat to battle without telling him the truth. Even when Jehoshaphat did not know all the details, GOD Almighty guards Jehoshaphat from the Syrians. GOD Almighty allows Jehoshaphat to return home from the battle. We learn that Jehoshaphat had called on the name of the LORD and was saved.

"But Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat, 'Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the LORD. Nevertheless, some good is found in you, for you destroyed the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek good.'"- 2 Chronicles 19: 2-4

GOD Almighty sends Jehu to reprove Jehoshaphat for having helped Ahab. GOD Almighty sees the intention of the heart and mind and knows that Jehoshaphat is good. Jehu corrects and reproves Jehoshaphat so that he does not help the wicked. We learn that Jehoshaphat accepts the reproof from Jehu and does not help AhazaiahWe learn that later in the story, Ahazaiah also practiced idolatry that he learned from Ahab and Jezebel. We learn that Ahazaiah also had difficulties with the Syrians and wanted the help of Jehoshaphat similar to AhabWe learn that Jehoshaphat negates the request to help Ahazaiah. This describes that Jehoshaphat accepted correction and decided to not help the wicked.

We are reminded in the Sacred Scriptures that we are supposed to be far apart from false prophets and false apostles that want to lead to wickedness and disobedience to the commandments of Moses. We learn in the story of Elijah and Jehoshaphat that we are supposed to be far apart from wicked individuals that only want to practice disobedience and sinPaul tells us that "bad company corrupts good moralsand we are supposed to be far apartfrom negative individuals who practice envy and wickedness. We learn that Jehoshaphat was able to practice righteousness obeying the commandments, removing idol worship from Judah, and separating himself from wicked people. We are supposed to accept correction and reproof similar to Jehoshaphat

King Jesus Christ, Everlasting King of kings

If Spotify links do not work, the GreatnessWithinUs.Life site has older articles with audio. Not sure if Spotify links do not work based on envy or human error. Most likely envy due to the times prior to the great tribulation and speaking truth, filial love, logic,  and repentance of sin. I am going to keep preaching and having gratitude for not practicing idol worship, not being covid "vaccinated" (not even once), and not having to tell temporary lies. I am able to persevere with gratitude and true joy amidst living in not the best of times. Hallelu JAH!

I keep persevering and having gratitude amidst the times that we are living in that are not the best of times. While the false prophets have attempted to prevent the Spotify audio links from working among so many other attempts to discourage including freezing or preventing my debit card from working since about the time the covid “vaccines” started being implemented, preventing me from cashing in cashier checks at the local store, being unable to withdraw funds from 401k (no answer from phone line workers), false prophets making random noises during the day including yelling non-sense, getting on the apartment roof to scratch the roof, and knock at random intervals, preventing the ability to work, preventing the ability to return back to school to get a Master's degree and keep on receiving an education, preventing access to Wordpress, creating app pop-up messages to prevent me from writing, closing apps multiple times, cyber attacking a laptop and preventing me from logging in, changing the voltage of the electricity to cause a desktop computer to malfunction, and overall attempting to intimidate, cause envy, and anger, I am able to persevere knowing that we await the return of King Jesus Christ. Even amidst all this, I am going to keep preaching knowing that there is encouragement amidst the times that we live in.These are definitely not the best of times knowing that there is envy and cowardice from the false prophets who definitely do not like individuals to prosper and improve in the worship of GOD Almighty consistent with Scripture. Even amidst the attempts to discourage, I have gratitude that I am not covid “vaccinated” (not even once), am able to exercise everyday minimum thirty minutes a day trusting in my immune system that GOD Almighty created and in GOD Almighty, and can keep preaching and writing amidst the not so good times that we live in. I have gratitude to GOD Almighty for allowing me to persevere even amidst attempts by envy to discourage and demotivate knowing that I do not place my worth in temporary material resources and false “relationships”.Instead I choose to worship King Jesus Christ, the Eternal King of Kings. I am going to keep preaching and keep writing for the worship of GOD Almighty knowing that there are books being written in heaven concerning the good and bad that each individual has done. We must persevere obeying the commandments and trusting in GOD Almighty.

"If GOD is for us who can be against us."

Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot- they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all- so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”- Luke 17: 27-30
