Reproving and Avoiding Wickedness and Idolatry
Positive Christianity Series Episode #162
We learn from the story of Elijah how he is guarded from the envy of Ahab and Jezebel. We learn that individuals are not supposed to practice idol worship and adultery because they lead to envy, coveting, anger, hate, slothfulness, bitterness, greed, avarice, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, difficulties, vices, and ultimately, the destruction of the unrepentant wicked. Ahab and Jezebel keep practicing sin and do not repent of their wickedness. We learn that after Jezebel had threatened Elijah, Ahab asks Naboth for his garden in exchange for money. Naboth refuses to sell his vineyard, and Ahab sulks about the refusal. We learn that Jezebel tells Ahab that she was going to get him Naboth's garden. We learn that Jezebel chooses to practice grave sin and gets two worthless men to falsely accuse Naboth of speaking ill of GOD and Ahab. Jezebel decides to kill Naboth based on false accusations and steal Naboth's garden. We learn that this describes the hostilities and coveting that exist in the practice of idol worship. For this reason, we are supposed to be far apart from idolators, adulterers, and adultresses that practice idol worship and adultery.
"Now Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard in Jezreel, beside the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. And after this Ahab said to Naboth, 'Give me your garden, that I may have it for a vegetable garden, because it is near my house, and I will give you a better vineyard for it; or if it seems good to you, I will give you its value in money.' But Naboth said to Ahab, 'The LORD forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers.' And Ahab went into his house vexed and sullen because of what Naboth the Jezreelite had said to him, for he had said, 'I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.' And he lay down on his bed and turned away his face and would not eat food.'"- 1 Kings 21: 1-4
We learn that Ahab had multiple vineyards and gardens, yet wanted the garden of Naboth. We learn that there was envy and coveting by Ahab due to his idol worship. For this reason, there is no need to practice idol worship because it leads to hostilities and envy. We learn that there is grave wickedness practiced by Ahab and Jezebel because they practice idol worship. We learn that their idolatry causes them to practice foolishness and sin. Instead of repenting of their wickedness after persecuting righteous prophets that led to the destruction of the false prophets by Elijah, they choose to persecute Elijah. This describes the folly that exists in the practice of grave sin and idolatry. This leads to even greater difficulties for Ahab and Jezebel because they have their diplomacy with Syria broken, Jehu is anointed king of Israel, and Elijah perseveres. Jezebel chooses to kill Naboth for his garden while Ahab is sullen. Instead of Ahab preventing Jezebel from persecuting Naboth, he does nothing.
"And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people saying, 'Naboth spoke ill of GOD and the king.' So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones. Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, 'Naboth has been stoned; he is dead.'"- 1 Kings 21: 13-14
We learn that Jezebel falsely accuses Naboth of speaking evil against GOD and Ahab being that Naboth did not want to sell his garden. Instead Jezebel had envied, coveted, and lied. Naboth is killed. We learn that even after seeing the grace of GOD Almighty and Elijah, they still choose to practice grave sin and foolishness. Ahab and Jezebel are wicked because they do not repent of their grave sin. We learn that while Ahab was king of Israel, he did not have authority because Jezebel was who guided Ahab. We learn that in idol worship, evil attempts to cause the female to usurp the authority of the male in order to lead to sin. This is the dynamic of Ahab and Jezebel seeing the manner that Ahab seemed to want to repent of sin when speaking to Elijah, but then following Jezebel's lead. Instead of respecting his citizen, Naboth, we learn that he allows Jezebel to persecute Naboth. Instead of preventing Naboth's death, Ahab does nothing and then goes to see the garden that had been illicitly obtained. This describes that idol worship does not look for equality and leads to envy and coveting. We learn that the snake attempts to cause the idolatrous woman to have authority over the idolatrous man and there is no equality. We learn that Ahab was the king of Israel yet was led by Jezebel to practice iniquity. Ahab does not prevent Jezebel's wickedness and does not prevent Naboth's death.
We learn that idol worship does not help Ahab and Jezebel. We learn that evil attempts to say that idol worship can help an individual gain power when there is the illusion of power. This is because we understand that GOD Almighty is All Powerful. We learn that evil says that there can be satisfaction and realization in lust and adultery when in reality it causes significant difficulties. We learn that sex is only meant for marriage between a man and a woman for the procreation of righteous children that worship GOD Almighty. We learn that the idol worship of Ahab and Jezebel leads them to destruction. Elijah is sent to speak to Ahab and Jezebel concerning their cowardice, temporary lies, and wickedness. We learn that GOD Almighty is Omniscient and Omnipresent being able to see the cowardice and wickedness of Ahab and Jezebel. GOD Almighty judges Ahab and Jezebel because of their sin. We learn that Elijah has courage to speak to Ahab and Jezebel and tells them that because they had killed Naboth and taken his garden, Ahab and Jezebel would also be destroyed. This describes how GOD Almighty is Omnipotent and also Just. While the snake may say that GOD Almighty is arbitrary and authoritarian, we learn that is a projection of the snake.

If Spotify links do not work, the GreatnessWithinUs.Life site has older articles with audio. Not sure if Spotify links do not work based on envy or human error. Most likely envy due to the times prior to the great tribulation and speaking truth, filial love, logic, and repentance of sin. I am going to keep preaching and having gratitude for not practicing idol worship, not being covid "vaccinated" (not even once), and not having to tell temporary lies. I am able to persevere with gratitude and true joy amidst living in not the best of times. Hallelu JAH!

I keep persevering and having gratitude amidst the times that we are living in that are not the best of times. While the false prophets have attempted to prevent the Spotify audio links from working among so many other attempts to discourage including freezing or preventing my debit card from working since about the time the covid “vaccines” started being implemented, preventing me from cashing in cashier checks at the local store, being unable to withdraw funds from 401k (no answer from phone line workers), false prophets making random noises during the day including yelling non-sense, getting on the apartment roof to scratch the roof, and knock at random intervals, preventing the ability to work, preventing the ability to return back to school to get a Master's degree and keep on receiving an education, preventing access to Wordpress, creating app pop-up messages to prevent me from writing, closing apps multiple times, cyber attacking a laptop and preventing me from logging in, changing the voltage of the electricity to cause a desktop computer to malfunction, and overall attempting to intimidate, cause envy, and anger, I am able to persevere knowing that we await the return of King Jesus Christ. Even amidst all this, I am going to keep preaching knowing that there is encouragement amidst the times that we live in.These are definitely not the best of times knowing that there is envy and cowardice from the false prophets who definitely do not like individuals to prosper and improve in the worship of GOD Almighty consistent with Scripture. Even amidst the attempts to discourage, I have gratitude that I am not covid “vaccinated” (not even once), am able to exercise everyday minimum thirty minutes a day trusting in my immune system that GOD Almighty created and in GOD Almighty, and can keep preaching and writing amidst the not so good times that we live in. I have gratitude to GOD Almighty for allowing me to persevere even amidst attempts by envy to discourage and demotivate knowing that I do not place my worth in temporary material resources and false “relationships”.Instead I choose to worship King Jesus Christ, the Eternal King of Kings. I am going to keep preaching and keep writing for the worship of GOD Almighty knowing that there are books being written in heaven concerning the good and bad that each individual has done. We must persevere obeying the commandments and trusting in GOD Almighty.

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot- they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all- so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”- Luke 17: 27-30
