Prioritizing Eternal Salvation in King Jesus Christ and Denying Idolatry

Positive Christianity Series Episode #138


King Jesus Christ instructs in the Sacred Scriptures about the manner that we can persevere without practicing idol worship and without prioritizing temporary material resources. King Jesus Christ preached against practicing idolatry meaning that there is no need to worship idols or prioritize temporary material resources. We know that this is consistent with the preachings of Moses who reproved the practice of idol worship when the faithless of Israel were worshiping the golden calf. We learn that we can choose to persevere in the worship of GOD Almighty without having to prioritize idol worship, temporary wealth, or temporary material resources. We learn that the righteous of Israel in the times of Moses persevered without practicing idol worship.

"And he told them a parable, 'The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?' And he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grains and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, and be merry.' But GOD said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' So is the one who lays treasure for himself and is not rich towards GOD."- Luke 12: 16-21

King Jesus Christ describes the need to be generous and kind instead of greedy and covetous. We learn that King Jesus Christ wants us to share of our abundance with others for good whether it is our talents, resources, or time. We are supposed to be kind and generous similar to David and King Jesus Christ who are just and kind. We learn about a man who is greedy and covetous in a parable. We learn that instead of sharing his resources, he decided to construct larger barns and storehouses so that we could stop being industrious and instead be slothful and lazy. We learn that the slothful decided to store up treasures on earth instead of using his abundance to worship GOD Almighty. Instead of being industrious and generous, he decides to be slothful and greedy. We learn that he decides to store up his goods and "relax, eat, drink, and be merry." This is all with the intention to glorify himself instead of using his resources to worship GOD Almighty.

We learn that while the wicked individual decides to plan to be slothful and greedy, GOD Almighty had decided to destroy him for his iniquity and avarice. We learn that instead of being greedy and covetous, we should be generous and kind knowing that the talents, virtues, resources, and time that we have is to worship GOD Almighty because GOD Almighty is the source of all things good. We learn that instead of being stingy and greedy, we can choose to be generous with our talents, resources, virtues, and time in the worship of GOD Almighty. King Jesus Christ describes in the parable the importance of choosing to worship GOD Almighty above everything including greed, temporary wealth, temporary material resources, comfort, avarice, slothfulness, and coveting. We know that this wisdom allows us to prioritize obedience to the commandments of Moses instead of practicing idolatry.

"Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered."- Proverbs 11: 25

"Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf."- Proverbs 11: 28

We learn that we are supposed to honor GOD Almighty with all our talents, work, effort, time, resources, virtues, and dedication. King Jesus Christ tells us to be generous and kind so that we obey the commandments of Moses while guarding our mind and heart from greed, slothfulness, covetousness, envy, and anger that want to lead to disobedience of the commandments of Moses. We learn that similar to the story of David, we learn that GOD Almighty destroys Nabal who is a wicked, greedy, and foolish individual. We learn that Nabal practices greed, avarice, foolishness, anger, envy, and coveting. We learn that when Nabal had an abundance of resources and David was seeking help, Nabal decided to refuse David help lying about not knowing who David was. We learn that everyone knew who David was for having destroyed the giant, Goliath. We learn that Nabal either did not share with David either because of envy of David or because of fear of Saul. We learn that Nabal was destroyed by GOD Almighty for being envious, greedy, and foolish. We learn that while David did not have connections or resources, GOD Almighty allowed David to persevere with the necessities that he needed even while being persecuted by Saul and envied by Nabal. We learn that David persevered trusting in GOD Almighty obeying the commandments of Moses and negating idol worship. 

"The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me."- Psalm 116: 6

I keep persevering and having gratitude amidst the times that we are living in that are not the best of times. While the false prophets have attempted to prevent the Spotify audio links from working among so many other attempts to discourage including freezing or preventing my debit card from working since about the time the covid “vaccines” started being implemented, preventing me from cashing in cashier checks at the local store, being unable to withdraw funds from 401k (no answer from phone line workers), false prophets making random noises during the day including yelling non-sense, getting on the apartment roof to scratch the roof, and knock at random intervals, preventing the ability to work, preventing the ability to return back to school to get a Master's degree and keep on receiving an education, preventing access to Wordpress, creating app pop-up messages to prevent me from writing, closing apps multiple times, cyber attacking a laptop and preventing me from logging in, changing the voltage of the electricity to cause a desktop computer to malfunction, and overall attempting to intimidate, cause envy, and anger, I am able to persevere knowing that we await the return of King Jesus Christ. Even amidst all this, I am going to keep preaching knowing that there is encouragement amidst the times that we live in.These are definitely not the best of times knowing that there is envy and cowardice from the false prophets who definitely do not like individuals to prosper and improve in the worship of GOD Almighty consistent with Scripture. Even amidst the attempts to discourage, I have gratitude that I am not covid “vaccinated” (not even once), am able to exercise everyday minimum thirty minutes a day trusting in my immune system that GOD Almighty created and in GOD Almighty, and can keep preaching and writing amidst the not so good times that we live in. I have gratitude to GOD Almighty for allowing me to persevere even amidst attempts by envy to discourage and demotivate knowing that I do not place my worth in temporary material resources and false “relationships”.Instead I choose to worship King Jesus Christ, the Eternal King of Kings. I am going to keep preaching and keep writing for the worship of GOD Almighty knowing that there are books being written in heaven concerning the good and bad that each individual has done. We must persevere obeying the commandments and trusting in GOD Almighty.

We are able to glorify GOD Almighty above everything in this world. We are reminded in Revelation to not be a part of idolatry and not to take the technological modification.
